In Marti's pre match chat he says: "We know that some players will stay out, unfortunately. We also have a couple of players with some niggles from the last game, as is usual at this moment of the season." I take it that means Frey and Varane remain unavailable but also that two more won't feature tonight - Cook and Lloyd perhaps? |

If Frey is still out and Marti doesn't fancy Lloyd, big Jimmy up front would be fun and maybe not a completely mad idea. |

For the DS he's played wide on both flanks, and I think he did the same when at Perth Glory. He seems comfortable using both feet. |

I'm very much hoping we'll see Dembele start in place of Yang who just isn't cutting it. |

Is the 10 extinct? I don't think so. I've seen all our 10s from Marsh onwards and although they had their differences they certainly had their similarities too. For me, a 10 plays off the central striker, is clever on the ball, scores goals and creates opportunities for others. |

The A and B coin phone boxes were indeed a thing in GB. As kids, we would regularly pop into the box and press the silver A button in the hope that we'd get some coins that hadn't been used, and we would sometimes be rewarded for our endeavor. |

I get that, Dave, but I can't see him being played enough to the end of the season to properly assess him, particularly if he does have an injury. There's only 10 games to go. |

Although played more as a 'fashionable' inverted wide left man, I've always thought of Taarabt as a no 10. |

He's 22 this month, not so young for a football player. He has 50 senior games under his belt, albeit 21 in the National League, so not that inexperienced. But I think you're right that he needs a loan out to help him in his career, wherever that might be. |

Having watched him in DS and senior games I've never been completely convinced he'll make it at this level. However, he needs a proper run of games to prove himself. I hope we can get him a good L1 or upper L2 season long loan in 25/26. |

We did okay up to the penalty. Colback, of course, has to stick his oar in as usual. Quite how the second half will pan out is anybody's guess with WBA down to 10 men but we don't often play well against a side that's lost a player. |
