R's Away Support Today
at 19:31 11 Jan 2026

I listened today to Andy Sinton and Co-Commentator, ( sorry don't know name).
First thing, that support today was bloody amazing,( I thought it was a QPR Home game).

I obviously wasn't their today, but from Andy's broadcast I thought it was on a par with Villa away, 1968 and the legendary Oldham away game , (both games I was at).

Well done you lot magnificent support!

Great commentary from Andy and Co-commentator by the way!

Thanks Clive, Really enjoyed the podcast the Championship is a minefield, the expectation is Premiership, but who can compete with the "Parachute teams".

Clive I think you mentioned last season, about the larger squad teams being able to handle three game weeks , now this season we have three game weeks against larger squads and multiple Hamstrings

I guess the new factor is the injury squad reduction factor, (Four last week?)

The Sooner the Premiership absorbs the Championship the better!

I couldn't bloody believe it! Kept their heads, Troy so cool with that finishing, Evan available as well for play offs, (not instead of Troy of course!).

Well done the lads on the terraces as well, god their must have been some serious consumption in Budapest last night!

Yes, Port Vale is a place where something is seriously not right, (even the Police Horses looked nervous).

Hoof Ball Team, ( apparently they have a Dropped Ball coach as well).

Best heard on the radio with the volume turned down.

Kone MOM?
at 23:21 30 Aug 2025

Yes, really enjoyed Kone running straight at Charlton Centre half, full take out of his whole body and a. er head collision as well, poor sod didn't know what hit him.

( I think this was payback for nasty off the ball in first half).

And yes I do see a lot of Les in him, ( obviously not pace) but all round confidence and physical threat, plus very cool in front of goal. I like him.

Coventry City 7 Queens Park Rangers 1 – Report

Clive

Top priority is to take care of yourself, you have done a great job for a very long time, the next six months looks like a very tough/ bad time for us , and anyone who genuinely cares for the club, you have done great things for us over the years, time to step back for a while.

Cheers Clive!

Walsh v Nardi
at 12:37 12 Aug 2025

Nardi isn't to bad a keeper, but as the season wore on he started to punch more crosses than catch them, ( which on occasion put us back under pressure), I think Walsh is very confident with crosses and general catching, (kiss of death), a fine performance away at Sunderland, but I don't think it's helping having different Centre Halfs and full backs every game, ( particularly at set pieces, I would stick with Walsh and let the defence settle down and see how we go.

Poku -

Really liked Poku in that Toulouse? game, on the right, really doesn't mind handing it out, their full back looking very nervous as game went on, played some lovely crosses into both near and far post, ( a handfull, really like him).

Them tomorrow Roll call....and match thread....

Watching Brentford today, was reminded of the old Jurgen Klopp comment when told they were up next,
" Oh god! Corners, goal kicks and throw ons" ( I might add drop balls now with their new Manager), if that's what Brentford have to offer I would be very nervous if was a Brentford fan, numbingly boring, ( as usual) but looked very top six Championship.

Great to watch and amusing that no full back would ever date throw a punch at Mark, best wishes to Mark and family.

Yes agreed, very pleased with Chair and Morgan, very calm, very quick.

Poku (not sure about spelling),Looks very good, and very quick , settled quickly, Sutton as we know is bloody quick and got involved straight away.
This can't be right? New players look good? Team settles quickly, very worried.

This is turning into one very bad tempered match.

Jimmy seems quite keen to let them know he's not happy with their behaviour.

Yes, Morrison is excellent on the ball, and always looks like he has time, (usually very helpful at International level!).
