I hope he doesn't read this, especially the review of his performance in the Swansea game last April. Had me laughing again, |

Subs warming up at HT is very short and then they all going trotting off to the changing rooms. Opponents subs usually out for the whole 15 minutes. What's the thinking there? |

Agree with all that but a question. If you haven't named a complete 25 man squad, is it allowed to pick up out of contract players with no club, outside of the window? |

Take Walsh out for a game or two and let Hamer have a go. We are likely to play Esquerdinha or Adamson, so I would definitely agree with three at the back, Edwards, Dune, Clarke-Salter and wingbacks with Mbengue on the right. Cook to come on for JCS after 45-60 mins. I think Saito and Kone should be given a break on the bench. Morgan, Hayden and Varane in midfield. Vale just behind Kolli up top. I'd be pleasantly surprised if Julian does change from 442. |

Bennie wouldn't have been encouraged to take that shot, on Saturday, by Warburton. |

If you watched the game and their ability, it was self evident that they are a good side. They may not have been earlier in the season but they are much improved. We've had our moments this season and arguably, on our day, with more of our 'favourite players available' we are a good side. |

Sometimes maybe, but other occasions it is difficult to stop your forward momentum when the opponent stops moving. |

Matt comes over as a decent bloke. Has helped a few on here over the last few years. |

Received another email from the club. This time from Matt Webb, Press and Media Manager who has spoken to the development team and an update will be published asap. |

Norrington-Davis can't play either, on loan from them. So it looks like Esquerdinha at lb. Incidentally, I was just checking how to spell Esquerdinha and discovered that a Brazilian footballer with that name was born in 1972 and sadly died in 2018! |

Bosh I agree with most of your post(s), however, those opening remarks. It was patently obvious to me, and others, that players needed resting. We have now lost Madsen, to add to Burrell through overplaying them. Norrington-Davis, we were told can't play three times in a week. So there he was for the second away game, with minimum recovery time. I know he can't play on Saturday but he couldn't really play last night either. Maybe our problems are down to conditioning but that is something to review and correct in the summer. For now, we have to deal with the current situation. Last night's game was a ridiculous selection. Thank god that someone thought take Kone off, before you make his situation worse. |

I couldn't believe it when I saw he had picked the same team. I posted early on the match thread some of our players, including Madsen and Kone, need a rest. Kone had a huge bandage on his thigh the other day. Put the conditioning to one side for just a minute. The reality of the situation last night was we were up against a very good side, with a parachute payment, lots of quality and a fair amount of experience. I'm no Clive but even I had heard of most of their team and subs. The other factors they had btb home games we (again) btb away and then our mounting injury list. Add to that the contrast in styles. Them, possession having been schooled by Russell Martin versus us chasing around after the ball all game, which takes a heavy toll on the freshness and fatigue of the players. The only way to play last night was to rest your tired and most important players and set up like we did at the end when trying for damage limitation, which btw was far too late. We could have started Cook, Bennie up front with Kolli, Vale with Hayden in the middle, with Morgan and Esquerdinha on the right and left of midfield. We might have done better, maybe even a point but whatever we wouldn't have injured Madsen, we might have avoided the drubbing as well as the damage to our goal difference and morale, whilst improving our chances against Sheffield red stripe on Saturday, when they have a day less to recover and prepare as well as the travel. Some times I think we are heading in the right direction. Our slow build towards improvement is bound to have hurdles along the way but another heavy defeat will be a major set back. Unless, somehow, with even more diminished resources, we can make it ' a different team on Saturday'. U Rrrs |

It wasn't really a case of being out jumped by a smaller player. He was beaten by the better anticipation of a player who came across in front of him. He was at fault but it happens. Even Saito managed a headed clearance coast night. |

I think there was publicity for the new app but maybe like me you didn't choose to read it. It wouldn't have made much difference to the snags but it would have highlighted them sooner. I emailed the club with details of the android versions on my TV, Phone and tablet and the problems encountered. I received a polite and speedy reply, thanking me for reporting the issues and saying they would get the tech partners to investigate. We shall see how long it takes. |

It should be easy to get a ticket for our away game. Biggest Rangers following 'away' since 2014. |
