A few less implosions and more luck with injuries and we could have been in the play-offs so I don't think we have much more to do to get to their level to be fair...
Premiership would still be a bridge too far but we have recruited well, have a likeable squad overall and think we are having a decent season... Just we are susceptible to throwing away winnable games...
I was just watching this last night and found myself slightly bemused by the goal being disallowed and a red card
Yes I understand the rules and yes two wrongs don't make a right but I see the tussle as one passage of play.
The Liverpool defender tried to cheat, yes cheat, and stop the goal. Why is it then that he's actually given what he wanted (which is to stop the goal) when he was cheating? Surely the fact the ball ended up in the net means football should prevail and goal is given
I don't agree with statement that ref played advantage and then haaland committed a foul. It was a tussle and one which the Liverpool player was trying to commit a foul and not play ball
We as fans realise he's ridiclous sometimes and I'm afraid referees will also see that and whether trying or not will factor into their split second decision
He needs to be a bit more clever going forward to get more decisions his way
