I think the king John is boarded up now, I was once mistaken for a judge from the court over the road even though I was wearing jeans which probably says a lot about the clientele in there

Wisely and in good faith, I think they would earn more credibility and 9000 followers if sometimes they engaged brain before mouth

When he called me in April a mobile number and a landline number showed up on my phone....god I am so tempted to tweet it. I thoroughly enjoyed speaking to him and Mrs B, who was lovely, but we have got to move on- we are well into the second decade of the 21st century, we are owned by a man who just 13 years younger than our club (alledgedly, as he does not have a birth certificate), yes it's unpalatable than tripe such as Dawson, Jarvis and Fletcher go for ridiculous fees but that is the name of the game these days y ken?

What the Dickens?

Forget it didn't he describe Leeds once as a "beastly place" and ala Schuravy his missus probably won't like the shops, the boy Shakespear from nr Coventry might be worth a punt after all a "comedy of errors" and "much ado about nothing" sums up our summer so far!

Thanks Captain! As I say I am a novice at this and took the word of someone who clearly was hoping to hawk his wares on ebay (scummy git - hope the players can tell who the real fans are!) - all the players looked a bit shellshocked actually!

LUST respond to Bates’ latest rant
at 10:48:30

Breach of the dos is 20k fine or six months bird, hope we have an extradition treaty with Monaco! Bates should not be using the club database to discredit individuals who dare disagree with him in public and even so not attending for "family reasons" is a far more credible excuse than not coming because you would have to pay tax!

Kenneth William Watch-what the **** is the Cheese Wedge?
at 20:44:26

Morans as in Kevin? Or Steve

Sorry it made you blush!

Actually if you bothered to read the programme and the article, the reference to the Cheese Wedge was not made by Bates but in a nostalgia piece about 1991. So I was not having a go at him

As a season ticket holder for 15 years between 1989-2004 and again this season, I never heard it called that and I tend to write on personal experience rather than rehash what I read elsewhere. Sorry must have led a sheltered life.

The cheese wedge it is then, when I book tickets again I will ask for "two in the cheese wedge" and if I end up with Jevaulx or Wensleydale I will personally hold you pair responsible and batter you both senseless with a camembert or brie (never known the difference myself) :-)

Do we really want Davenport?
at 19:57:13

Dunno really - aren't we all guilty from time-to-time of thinking those close to the ones we love are not good enough? Seems he was the victim of a vicious attack rather than some horrible scrote going out looking for trouble like a certain midfielder we once had on our books. The more relevant question I feel is can he bounce back from losing around 50% of his blood and ever be the same player again?
