If ever a bowler that will be missed its the Burnley Express. Both for Lancs and England. Sadly injured last game as he was almost single-handedly getting us promoted back to L1 in a world cup year. Not so sure now

I played for Rochdale boys as a kid in the 70s. The club has been in my blood from gestation and KH has delivered the most successful ever period in the clubs history bar the late 60s. However I have never liked him. No humility no class only self righteous arrogance. He has got away with that because he has delivered. However it now seems that the financial position he has created for himself personally is ruining our club. Board needs to show its worth and whatever it takes lets start afresh.
If it means cutting our cloth in L2 to balance any payout then so be it. This can't be allowed to continue. Act. |

Given we seem to be holding our own defensively in games with Jim in the back 3, would this allow MJ to move into midfield to be more of a creative influence and release Henderson to play up top? |

Logged on this morning after a great result to see what Keith had to say and to be honest after a few minutes I had had enough of the complete lack of enthusiasm and downbeat reaction and turned off.
What is wrong with this bloke these days. How can any supporter or in fact any interested 3rd party viewer come away with any other view than 'how strange' He says we are where we should be. He says relegation is a success. He mentions how great he is and what he has done for our club. I make no apologies for saying that the guy is a complete egotist and wonder how his current state of mind and comments affect the playing staff.
At best they must think that he is a bit eccentric and slightly off his trolley!! Am I alone in thinking that he has totally lost the plot! Going against the grain on here I know but I think we need something different, even though the board wont be able to afford any changes.
I would have thought he would be up and taking this as a great step forward along with a great result last week in the cup, but he just leaves you frustrated, underwhelmed and depressed!! |

Jonny Evans is obviously in the news for a move this month, but having watched the last few games is he really any better than Craig Dawson? Thought I would list the attributes required to be a top defender and throw it out there to see what you all think.
Tackling - No difference
Heading - Dawson is better
Positional Play- Dawson is better but marginal
Pace - Probably Evans but not by much
Attacking Threat - Definitely Dawson
Leadership Qualities - Same probably maybe just Evans on experience
Flexibility - Dawson as he can play in any position
Given that why are clubs not looking at Dawson as he would be much cheaper and Evans in my somewhat Dale tinted glasses has more time and ability overall |

Dreadful just dreadful. Why bother when the questions and delivery are so poor. Makes the club look complete amateurs and Keith himself must have been thinking whats all this about! Repeating the same thing for 7 minutes. Its enough to make you cringe! |

Watching the after match interview, Keith talks about players not performing and making mistakes. As stated on many a thread surely this is about the right defensive platform with the right players. Hopefully he will make the required changes and give those players not performing time out.Nice for him to realise we might be in trouble! Something many have been saying for weeks. Will he change things though? |

Its with increasing alarm that I get the feeling that unless you are in the 'forum club' your opinion is dismissed. Its like your not worthy to have a different opinion. I have witnessed several non members expressing views and then systematically ridiculed by those who think they know better. |

So Craig has been offered a new contract at WBA as his current one has ended. Could this be more money coming in if he decided to go elsewhere? He has had a great season and isn't the type to chase a few extra quid but you never know. |

As one who was very doubtful of the early signings and form, I just have to say how wrong I was. Luke warm re signings like JT and RNL have stepped up in recent weeks and along with the 'new' left back, Hilly has certainly pulled more than one Bunney out of the hat!! |
