I reckon one of Cook / Fox will stay.

Dunne is hoping for a much improved wages elsewhere, which could be possible as he would be a free, but would be a sideways move if he did.

Paal - does he want to go back home. He is reasonable enough. Ideally for me, he would be the reserve left back though in the squad.

We have no hope of signing Edwards but I would offer terms but it's just never happening sadly.

I have a feeling Ashby likely to be moved on by Newcastle but I feel he has the ability and should improve. I think he is performing under his ability levels Would be a risk for ourselves though.

Saito, am certain has already signed, otherwise we need to make moves for this to happen a top priority. To be announced at next club forum meeting.

Frey absolutely deserves an Extension.

Colback - I think if we sign another, he may leave.

Anderson, Madsen, Celar get rid for me.

Weird

If I had a free day and had played previously at another club and had an opportunity to go and watch an old club with a few of me old muckers attempting to play football, I would go.

We are not in a world today, where anybody is tied to one club throughout their career.

If he was engineering a move then would be p*ssed off a la Teacher Beale !!

Footballs his job and his hobby. Why not spend a day watching elsewhere.

Andy Hinchcliffe as a Co-Commentator- he must have had some beef with QPR in his playing career, because he hates us !!

Anyone notice this and anyone got any explanations.

He never says anything positive about our club and bigs up on our opponents every time he is working on our live games. Weird...

A turn of Frey's
at 08:55 18 Mar 2025

Frey gives it his all, is decent with his finishing, and a proper target man with a deceptively chaotic but reasonable level of control.

Considering others comments, during the Leeds game, I was thinking, at last we have an old school centre forward, that has remained elusive for us, for number of years.

Definitely feel Kolli will be decent too.

Lloyd is league one at best for me and Celar, yes he had two good finishes, but for me, if we can get rid, then absolutely would.

Kelman deserves a chance and if not loan / sell in January, but again, I think with Charlie, he could be decent.

Leaves us one spot to sign the next big thing !!!

Sorted. Simple as !!!

Barry Davies was decent.

"Oh. You have to say that's magnificent."

Good point Barry.

Or friend of my dad's always commented on David Colemans simple commentary.

"One nil".... said with authority.

John Hunt - poor chap

An horrendous experience he suffered and suffers

I should imagine having a surviving daughter, he has to remain strong for her sakes, otherwise the temptation would be totally give up, as life would be too painful.

His work is at least a distraction from his dark thoughts, which must be present, almost permanently.

Yes Monsieur Parker defo a returning legend

Mr Armstrong perhaps a bit of a stretch to call him that

He was and still is an average young player who unfortunately will get no better, I believe.

When he first came on the scene, I thought he could be the new Les.

Unfortunately the reality was a little different.

Nice to see a former player, returning to where he could call home. Probably friendly with a lot of our players.

Hope he can have a decent career ahead of him though, wherever he plays.

Nice to be there, thehat.

Yes totally agree about the part regards being a nervous wreck watching our games.

I enjoy the wins more when I get back home and watch the television highlights, but during games can't say, it's often the word "enjoy" that comes to mind.

He is another one that seemed better going forwards than in defence but I found most of his little cameos for us, decent enough.

Think he will be back but hopefully as a number two ie I think someone else will be signed to replace Paal.

Not for .me next year though

As much a liability as an asset.

Can be often brain dead, pen he gave away recently and a walking red card at times.

Not fit enough often enough also.

Put him out to pasture next season

First Head Over The Parapet Leeds Match Thread

Last season we had Dozzell as a regular starter

Dykes and Armstrong as non scoring number nines as our only other options to an injury hit Frey.

Chair was our only consistent attacking midfielder but was out for periods too.

Begovic was the number one....

We were still in relegation danger with two games left

If you are depressed by our lack of progress from last season, then perhaps follow the red devil's from just outside Manchester. They are on television more than ourselves also !!!

Have no understanding of your immense negativity about QPR !!!

Think Lloyd could enjoy a league one loan.

Chair and Eze had loans that did them well.

Smyth improved after time in the lower leagues.

Kelman has a great habit of being in the right place.

Am looking forward to see how he gets on next season.

I find it hard to see that you get any enjoyment whatsoever about following QPR.

It was a decent performance against a top championship outfit.

Yes two up flattered us and most of us feared the worst when Leeds pulled level early in the second half, but we could even have nicked it.

The injuries are piling up, but unlike other seasons, we certainly have a much more substational squad than previous.

Retaining a couple of the defenders out of contract and one or two other signings and we have at least a top half squad for next season with a decent manager at this level and with a bit of luck and maybe an Eze transfer to allow us to find the miracle of a total number nine, who knows.

But Stainrod, you always can be so amazingly negative always. Hard to understand what you get out of supporting our team.

We can definitely be content right now, without being complacent, at the very least.

It's been a decent showing this season and in particular after an atrocious start, results wise.

a season of missed chances and dodgy refs.....
at 19:47 15 Mar 2025

I was level with it and I thought he got the ball and wasn't even a foul and was shocked when he gave a free kick, but after reading all the comments, must have been myself requiring specsavers..

Shame, if as that's three match ban in three winnable games.

Stoke, Oxford and Cardiff.

Thought Anderson has been OK last couple of games and will give Dembele a chance to start.

The key thing currently is like with Cook, also pulling up, we have Dembele and Morrison to fill in. Squad depth this season has been the reason for less troubles with "going down" vibes.

It's going to be a season of consolidation and hopefully with careful defensive signings, we can push on next season.

There are absolutely more ups than downs !!
