Mark Kennedy. A mere 28 years ago but a night Loftus Road will never forget. I was in The Paddock that night so had a wonderful view.
Routledge for me was the one that got away, we really should have signed him.
Ishmael Miller made his mark. Pav.
Darren Ward I liked and he wanted to sign for us.
Aziz Ben Askar was only a loan I think.

Seen a couple of interviews with Kyle where his loan spell at Rangers is mentioned and he gives a 'Come On Urrrssss.' |

Vale for me at the moment is; availability is the best ability, so we shall see him tomorrow.
To be fair he has been asked to play wide right, wide left and in the middle but you feel if everyone was fit and available he would be on the bench.
Saito is in a bad run of form not helped by sporadic game time. At least he is always trying to create shooting opportunities but again on the bench if everyone is available.
Smyth probably won't get as many free kicks as he should but he is one of my favourite players and so many defenders have to foul him to stop him. |

Fans are always talking about how our poor injury record is holding us back, but for me the consistency is an issue right up there with the injuries, both are holding us back, season after season. Last night being a prime example.
After the start we made this season I was really hoping that under Julien we would be a more consistent team but unfortunately it's currently turning out the same.
Yet again we are asking ourselves which Queens Park Rangers will turn up on Saturday. [Post edited 4 Nov 9:12]

The Harald Schumacher/Patrick Battiston incident came straight to my mind as well. As others have said the difference is Schumacher knew what he was doing whereas the actions of the FC Andorra keeper appears to be sheer incompetence.

Really thought we would win tonight until I saw the team sheet.

A win tonight would have taken us up to seventh place.
As it is we are a point off the play off's during a vein of inconsistent form and our usual glut of injuries.
Like it or not we are very much in the mix. |

Both did ok in the first half in my opinion, certainly no worse than anyone else.
Julien needs to up his game, Smyth up top worked fine against Swansea but there is no need to repeat that every game now against different opposition. Julien also needs to be more proactive, making substitutions at half time not later when the game is drifting away. |

Everyone needs to take a shot on more, Kamara again had a chance or two tonight but played the pass instead.
Burnley showed us what can happen if you buy a ticket.
A lot more intensity needed from us in the second half.
Saito off, Smyth out wide and Kolli on please. Let's play two proper strikers up top. |

Top team Southampton but 4-1 flatters them. They still needed a couple of deflections and some poor defending to win the game.
Another sluggish second half start. Our normally reliable defence were all over the place at times in the second half. I can't get the image of Adamson, barely jogging out to Manning, for the second out of my mind.
baz_qpr_ and my mate Colin are correct in saying that Kone lost his man for the third, barely in the same postcode by the time the ball hits the back of the net.
How lucky are we to have Andy Sinton on co comms? His reading of the game and fair assessment. As he says if you finish above Southampton then you are going up. Take some positives from our first half performance and move on to the two important home games next week.
Certainly a discussion to be had on Julien's substitutions, both the timing and personnel, but on days like this it's all feels like semantics.

Rich' has that in his locker, scored a couple of similar last season.
All about the speed at which he gets his shot away.
Still need Ronnie in the middle and another positive attacking substitution. Sh1t or bust, lets give it a go |
