I’m intrigued by what feast of non football we will dish up on Saturday without Madsen.
Ideally we’ll both play in red and white shirts so it’ll at least give the impression we’re passing to our own players. |

Funny one, Richard Thompson, I always saw him as the architect of our downfall.
I did business with the club in his era, I won’t go into the story again, but behind the scenes an absolute clown show. 5th in the Premier League when I’d had enough, club clearly heading for a major fall. Glad just to retain my love for the team.
Gregory was the man, perfect for this club. When the cats away, the mice will play, none more so than at LR. |

Never give Jimmy a rest. Jimmy doesn’t need a rest. Jimmys like a 1970’s centre back, he even looks like a 1970’s centre back. Jimmy knows a dislocated shoulder just needs a little rub. Jimmy just wants to play football. All the time. Non stop. Even in his sleep.

We’ve been taken apart by pass and move sides time and again, Coventry, Ipswich, Boro, Southampton.
Injuries or otherwise, Stephan has got to become aware that there are sides we have to set up to contain and his 4-2-3-1 doesn’t do that.
The defence lost their heads last night but, when your front four are so inexperienced at this level, savvy teams will destroy us.
Some will learn from this but there are those that won’t and need to be weeded out fast. |

Agree with most of that, it’s just that we are weak on that left side going forward and Chair can hold the ball up a whole lot better than Saito.
He left the field with us in 6th place, think he might be the difference if we want that 6th place back. |

Excellent report, caught the moment brilliantly.
I’d made my peace with this season, safe at the end of Feb, the suns got to come out at some point, two months bathing in the warmth of spring in SAR where the results don’t matter.
Then comes Bennies shot. Lifted me off the sofa, frightened the life out my dozing wife, that’s what I want from football. I’d almost forgot.
Oh, and Des’ moustache. 48 years since I left school and a reminder of punctuation I’d clean forgot about, thank you. |
