It's still a lot, but there are 117 places between them. Macclesfield would need to be close to the bottom of the Northern Prmier League (Premier division) for it to be 144 places. |

Thanks Clive & guests. I was a little surprised that none of you mentioned Norwich as a possibility for relegation. They may well stay up, but in January last year, most of us (including myself) thought Luton would recover. I see many similarities between the two clubs & think Norwich will be in the thick of it until the end. Especially, as Andy said, they don't have Rangers to gain any points from! |

I went from being pleased to sign Varane, to "what have we done?" after seeing him play. Then back to "he could be some player" at the end of last season. This season, I think he has been unhappy that he wasn't transferred in the summer & his performances have reflected that. My surprise is that the rumoured offer is as high as that quoted. |

I'm not 100% sure, but I think he has to be registered with us by 12.00 (noon) today. Let's remember though, that he made his debut for us at Leicester last season & was as poor as everyone else! |

And what about the years that followed? Once again, you ignore most of the post. In case I overlooked it? Read my post again & you will see that I made a large reference to it. As I did tyo all our third round defeats to clubs two or three divisions below us. |

Thank you for the replies to my questions. I'm leaning more towards using the Central Line rather than Shenfield, but I've another few days to change my mind! If the Rose was closer to Shenfield station the decision would be easier! |

Well, this is a surprise! Did you not write that you wouldn't go to this game even if tickets were 10p? |

My thoughts on the West Ham game is to ask questions of the LFW population as this board has so many knowlegeable members! Any advice will be gratefully received. 1) Possibly the most important is. Do we need to find a watering hole outside of Stratford? I know we've been advised to, but is it necessary? 2) As we have bus replacement on Greater Anglia services, I'm yet to decide whether to drive to Shenfield or Gants Hill. Is their still free road parking available at Gants Hill on the side roads? I suppose this question could also apply to Fairlop or Hainault. 3) If I'm using the Central Line, is it better/quicker to walk to Leyton after the game than use Stratford? Thanking everyone in advance for any answers given. |

I also didn't think he had played particulary well to start with. BUT, he was always looking to be positive & creative. That's not something I could say about the two players who played wide on the right! Let us hope that the club allow him to play more games. We will definitely need him on the pitch while Burrell is absent. At the time, I couldn't understand how the Wednesday 'keeper was so easily beaten for our second goal. Watching the highlights showed me how good a finish this was. Carry on please Rayan |

Meanwhile Forest got everything they deserved at Villa. To adopt the no more than one player crossing the halfway line approach was typical of a Dyche team. I laughed when it rebounded on them with Villa score with ten seconds left in the first half. |

You're right on this Boston & I shouldn't have expressed my feelings on a certain ex player on that thread. |

Dembele was on loan for the whole of last season & transferred to Rangers in July as he had activated the clause in the loan agreement. As he managed to achieve that before his injury (September?), shows that it must have been a soft target. Possibly suggesting that we couldn't afford the fee last season. |

There was nothing boring about the Sunderland City game! Watching every Sunderland player putting their bodies on the line & throwing themselves into blocking positions & tackles was a pleasure to see after the misery of yesterday afternoon. Yes, they were totally outplayed, but definitely worth the hard won point. Once again, Xhaka was outstanding & must be in contention for the Premier League Player Of The Year. |

Starting to worry about that one Clive? I've had the 4 Christmas/New Year games down as no wins for a long time! If we'd been playing Hull, Preston, Wrexham etc, I'd have been far more confident. Today I thought Dunne was our only outfield player that could be considered for a rating of 5 & that might be pushing it. Perhaps Barry Bannan can wind up our players enough on Sunday for a positive reaction! |

Morgan was our only passer of the ball on Monday. |

From memory, Arsenal overloaded their left hand side & had three players attacking Furlong. Of course, he received zero support from any Rangers players! |
