If we're sticking with black I wish we'd just keep it simple blue and black stripes.

Think it would look better on the terraces with a pair of jeans than it will on the pitch.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Hate it. Why drop the blue and black stripe... if you are going to do that at least do it with something that isnt just a blue tshirt. Poor.

The away kit is alright, but it couldnt get much worse than this years.

Not a bad kit just a bit plain for my liking.

Any news on the keepers kits?

Poll: Would you have Keith Hill back?

That is awful, I take it the club don't need the replica shirt revenue?
Based on a training shirt, looks like a training shirt, I will be another not buying one.

I must be on my own because I absolutely love both shirts! Massive improvement and I'll DEFINITELY be buying both!

Only thing about either kit I'd change is the shorts on the home kit, think they should either be black or white.

The away kit is magnificent.

If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor

I think it looks great in both versions.

Not a fan of the "JD King of Trainers" on the back though.

I'm with you Chaff. Quite like them. Not fussed about the stripes thing, Personally, I'd have gone back to our blue and white kits after the Centenary season. This is the nearest we've come to doing that so I'm quite pleased.

Poll: Who do you think bury should appoint as their next manager?

You're right about the shorts. They should be white. It is correctly stressed about avoiding clashes but using a darker blue in the away kit doesn't necessarily do this - and yes I'm fully aware that's being picky but using variations on the same colour should always be avoided.

The home kit is ok but lacking in white to break it up, easily achieved in the trim with a bit in the collar/sleeves and a stripe on the shorts & socks. The art of kit design often lies in simplicity, but you can be subtle with the detail when adding to an initial concept. I like the away strip as an overall kit (ignoring the clashtastic point), it's distinctive and the shirt avoids clashes now Shrewsbury are relegated (maybe we had to wait for that to be confirmed...)
Edit: on the detail thing it's good to see the Fila logo matches the shirt colour. Top work. And the away kit badge has a yellow background too! Ace.

Big important edit: have a look at the pictures on the Dale Wall, the away shirt is brilliant. Notice the horizontal shadow-type design in the material. Full credit to whoever chose/designed this shirt, some magnificent touches to it. Wish the home shirt had followed the same detailing in the material.

However, it's worth noting that when fans came up with different designs last year there was an overwhelming opinion that we stuck with stripes when alternatives were offered. An offer has again been made to the Trust via members to ask the club whether supporters can play a full part in the choice in future kits.
