I'm sorry, I know I've posted this before a few times, but this is just too good...plus the few tunes sum up the last few weeks for me. I want revenge on the BS I had to put up with :) Other tunes have been bouncing around in my head during that time
Without any shadow of a doubt Sandy Pearlman's finest moment with the Clash. Quite possibly their finest moment with anyone. God knows why it wasn't on the album:
I've only just come across this lot and not all their tracks work, but when they do - wallop! "Post metal", apparently. Genres, eh?

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Which album mate? It was on their first album wasn't it?

No it wasn't on the first album or the second album. I think that it was on the US version of the first album, but it was recorded well after the first album. I'm not sure about Pearlman being involved though - that's what it says in Wiki but I suspect that's wrong the more I look at it. It was probably a standalone track recorded just before Give Em Enough Rope, before Pearlman came in.
By way of compensation here's a great interview with Topper that i found:
Never really dabbled with this lot but this song is flat out dope.
Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.
