Voted the above post down not as a political expression, but because this thread is the last place to be political. In fact, i think we've done well on here in the past few months to keep our views to ourselves and prevent the board becoming toxic - let's keep it that way, please

I'm a narrow-minded childish man, who can't stand to be challenged intellectually as I tend to succumb. I usually resort to name calling and aggression as I display clear Dunning-Kruger effect behaviour..."

Just be honest, don't purport to be some high and mighty protector of the integrity of this board.

I'm being honest; this board is better for keeping our political views to ourselves. I didn't used to think that, but I've changed my mind in the light of experience and wasted time

If you've got another 24 hours free to find a syndrome for that, feel free

Strongly argue for something. That something turns out to be at best far more complex than mere hubris, at worst just patently untrue. Save face by stamping out the debate. The logical somersaults DAlien goes through to avoid the word ‘wrong’ are a sight to behold.

Both you and I know that you haven’t stopped discussing politics on here. You just don’t want to talk about Brexit because you made an absolute d!ck of yourself last time.

But BigDave is correct in his summary of your last contributions to the Brexit debate. Though if it offers solace, you weren't the only one to show incredible naivety and little Engammoner behaviour!

Donald Tusk, as he often does, hit the nail on the head last week aptly articulating my thoughts.

How thoughtful of you to be worrying yourself about me on Valentine's Day!

Having enjoyed mine with my partner, my advice to you is to relax; it'll soon be another Prague Spring (see what I did there?)

But don't bother answering... your response will be just as irrelevant to me as "Big Dave's"
