Keep BBM. We’ve seen earlier this season without injuries that we can play well. Last season also showed he knows the smash and grab stuff when we need to win scruffy and get points.
I feel he’s still naive in changing his game plan but he’s been doing the job less than 12 months so o can forgive that. I can also forgive that he’s left with some deadwood from Hill’s reign. Let him build his own squad and judge him after that. With that all said I think we’ll all be getting restless if there’s no transfer activity in Jan given the 2 cup windfalls we’ve had. If BBM strengthens and we still go down then It’d be more reasonable for the board to consider sacking him than right now.
For what it’s worth I think we’ll stay up. But we have to address our obvious weaknesses over summer or we’ll be in the shit again L1 or 2. |  | | |

Never really taken to BBM as a player or coach etc. Did ok last season but his recruitment this season shows a lack of awareness of the level we need to compete at . He seems tactically inept and I'm sorry to say but apart from the Utd game the standard of football has been appauling. To keep picking the likes of MJW and the absolutely useless Andrew is crass stupidity. I know we are paper thin but surely there are better loanees out there except Pyke ( why on earth he brought him back) .
I think the board messed up with keeping him in the summer.
Perhaps we should just accept being meek old Rochdale and accept we are punching above our weight etc ...( I hate that approach from Dale fans, we are in league 1 on merit, dont accept anything less, lets at least go down with a fight) .

I’d certainly hang on with BBM..
I think that a fully fit squad playing at its best would achieve a mid table position and no more.
As it stands we are where we deserve to be..this season being a 3 down scenario and the Bolton points deduction will hopefully see us stay up..but if not in Jan then certainly in the summer this squad needs major surgery. | | | |
