We love our former U's, well most of them anyway, so thought I'd start a thread where we can keep up with them.

Thought I'd kick things off with a happier moment for Matt Jay in Essex as he scored a long ranger against Chelmsford at the weekend. It wasn't a joyous return though as Torquay shipped two late goals to lose 3-2 after leading 2-0.

Jay also got the equaliser away at Weston-super-Mare last night. Hopefully he's starting to enjoy his football again.

1 in 3 goal scorer in this division, according to McGreal when he signed for us!

Not sure how many he ended up scoring for The u's but it must have been pretty close to 0

Talking about former U's in Devon did anyone foresee Joe Edwards going on to have the career he's had? Over 500 appearances in total now with over 200 for Plymouth mainly in League One and the Championship.

Pleased he’s enjoying it. It must be strange for him not having his own ‘fans’ shouting abuse at him. Doesn’t sound like he was too upset to leave.
