Second Remberance ceremony of the week immaculately observed. Looked 66 places between the clubs . Visitors worried by the pace of full time players from the start and spent the entire game grappling guys over with no support from the ref. Defence won first header to make it comfortable. Professionalism showed in the end, though second touches were not convincing at times. Worcester keeper kept them in the tie throughout has frontline generally lacked the killer touch of finishing things off. Scoreline made it looked a lot closer than it was. A win and in the cup , at least positives . [Post edited 7 Nov 18:29]

Could have been far worse, the Remberance Observation pre match at Anfield on Sunday was a travesty. Hours of pre match banal talk, over to on pitch live, no doubt pushed for time, the last post played in the minute silence allocated, sound like at 100 mph to fit it in. Totally disrespectful . Hold yours heads in shame Sky . And on a totally different note, does the ref report the claimed racism during the game to the Kick it Out website or does the player have to do it ? |

Most we deserved was a point. Least we played better twenty minutes either side of half time, where has they say get ahead while on top. Sadly the keeper was not worked enough during that time due to our inability to work enough clean cut chances and some decent defending. Sadly again subs had no effect thereafter and a possible home victory slipped away. DC trying to work different combinations, but has we set up differently from last season, keeping clean sheets is a must. |

🗣️ “The league is our bread and butter but the first round of the FA Cup, that’s the magic right there. “It’s hard to believe right now but we’ll go down there and definitely give them a good game. “We’re really looking forward to it. “It’s a long trip, but the boys will go out there and enjoy the whole occasion – and that’s what it’s all about. “Players at this level very rarely get that opportunity, so we’ll soak every little minute in and go and enjoy ourselves... 🏆🤩 Worcester City’s boss Chris Cornes is looking ahead to a dream FA Cup first-round trip to Colchester United. #FACup | #nonleague |

Playing out from the back, slow, no urgency and link up play up front non existent . Possession lost far to infrequently in the middle of the park. Apart from Sesay who has show glimpses but still learning the basics, the loanees have been ineffective. Sadly playing like when Mullins was manager ( sorry ) says it all . |
