I noticed that when Casey came off over on the east and walked around pasr the west to the bench, Matos seemed to completely ignore him. Is there a problem? Or am I reading too much into it?
Coming off from the other end of the field takes some time. Vitor probably was engrossed and too focussed on the game to notice and remember
Hope Casey realises that he had a good support as he walked around he did look somewhat dejected but that would be understandable given he would have wanted to stay on.
I thought he had a decent game and was equally surprised when he came off, seemed to be dealing with WBA quite well?
Personally I like what I have seen so far, he just needs more action which he is unlikely to get unless we get injuries so it seems.
Seems a strange decision to not give him the full 90 minutes unless he is being recalled this month which I would assume could be possible due to his lack of game time?
I think Matos was too engrossed in the game tbh. I think he was brought off because he was on a yellow and Matos didn't want to risk going down to 10 . He had 65 mins which is a decent outing . He was also up against a big unit in Dike and had his hands full physically . Overall , one or two loose passes but battled away manfully and did well in my opinion.
