From what I can remember a couple of years ago now , there are one or two pubs at least in Bridgwater town centre. They are nothing special but ok I vaguely remember a wetherspoons there opposite a motorcycle shop . There was definitey a kebab shop there too . |

I drove to Leeds once and as I drew level with the Peacock pub the exhaust fell off my Vauxhall Belmont right in front of a load of Leeds fans .It was about an hour before kick off so I drove to a back street garage who kindly wrapped some welding wire round it to hold it in place. I have read today of a 27 year old Syrian man who has been charged with rape of a 15 year old girl and sexual assault of another at a hotel in Kenilworth Warwicks. He has been granted bail until the hearing in August next year . Two tier right there. |

By the same token any normal person would expect pensioners to have some accumulated wealth . They have worked hard for 45 + years to get it and during that time would have paid an enormous amount of tax -income tax , capital gains perhaps , insurance tax , national insurance , vat on gas electric water petrol clothes food in restaurants on goods and services , business rates perhaps, council tax/poll tax, stamp duty and inheritance tax . Etc.
