Wtf. This is just getting silly now
Call me old fashioned but wish it was just the winners of each uefa league...

Anyway, I'm just jealous as I want to see Saints there one day.

Hence it's called the Champions (Cup) League!

It’s the European Super League that the greedy snides wanted in all but name.

The knock on effect is that those whose nose isn’t in the trough end up getting shafted, left, right and centre. Everton have had two 3pm Saturday kick offs this season. The game against Arsenal in two weeks, as well as City’s game is subject to change due to CL taking priority. Anyone who has bought travel tickets for these games, tough luck.

I’d love it if they did break away properly with their glory hunting fans, shove it on some pay per view channel that I’d never subscribe to and let decent normal fan crack on with the sport they love and now this tellyclapping quntfest.

Totally agree with you on this, ship our so called big 7 off to a proper superleague and we would once again have a competitive top flight which could be won by anyone of a number of clubs

The problem with that is, the will be little to no TV money. Sky etc will only pay bigs bucks to show those clubs. No doubt the big clubs would insist on having their 2nd teams in the league and would continue to dominate.

Also Any player that is half decent will instantly be bought by the big clubs because the wages they will be able to pay. Mind you that 2nd point is already what happens today.
