Best to have a beer at the stalls on the walk from the Metro to the ground

COOKING burgers? Don't waste money on expensive frying pans. Simply fill the water nozzle on your clothes iron with cooking oil, set the dial to linen & iron the burger for 2 minutes on each side

5 Things About The QPR Game
at 12:13 26 Feb 2026

I didnt think it clashed at the game, although to my eyes it looked a little bit yellow & black at times not pink and black.

After seeing the tv replays I didnt think it clashed, we have too much white in our kit to have done so

Yes the score was 5-1 it was a typo hit the wrong key.

I didnt have a pop at the fans, just pointed out the attendance

Yes 1st season in league 1 with a points deduction, but at that stage, it was not insurmountable.

Yes the following week against Huddersfield was a lower attendance, but it was a tuesday night.

The previous game had been even lower than them both.

At the time these were disappointing attendances as we were on a high after the previous season but some preferred to let Markus put his hand in his pocket than put their hands in their own pockets, the opening game of the season against Millwall, who brought a couple of thousand down was only 20,103.

You are right maybe they were saving for Wembley although that was still a month off this game.

I'm not slagging any fans, praise to those Saints supporters who turned out for these games,

We beat Walsall at home in League One

The score was 5-1 with goals from Jason Puncheon, Lee Barnard (2) Rickie Lambert & Adam Lallana.

For those that sing "Our Saviour Markus Liebherr" he wasn't being acclaimed by many in this game only 20,461 were present

Potentially 7 British teams in the champions league
at 11:26 26 Feb 2026

Totally agree with you on this, ship our so called big 7 off to a proper superleague and we would once again have a competitive top flight which could be won by anyone of a number of clubs

I would imagine that they are judging by what everyone tells me, I was more a Stiff Little Fingers man in terms of Northern Ireland punk bands back in the day, although I had the first few Undertones albums to0

Quote from German legend Uli Hoeneß

“Former Bayern president Uli Hoeneß:

"We could charge more than €120 per season ticket. If we charge €350 per season ticket we would get €2m extra, but what does that mean for us?
The difference for a fan between €120 and €350 is enormous and we do not believe that fans are like cows, which are milked.
Football has to be for everyone. That is the biggest difference between us and England."
