| Phil Parkinson on 13:45 - Nov 3 with 383 views | sP7qupUf | Tricky to sack him given the context of the 'Wrexham Dream' and his role in it. He has been backed all the way, not only in the transfer fees themselves but the wages involved in those signings, and he has come up short. The only way out, whist keeping the 'story' going, would be to offer him a huge payoff to step down with a statement along the lines of Parky saying that he feels he has taken them as far as he can and it is time for fresh eyes. This would save face all round.... but we all know the real story eh!! | | | |

The average age of their starting 11 is 28 years old. The majority are on high wages, the only reason they went there. High wages with little resale value is a recipe for disaster. If the players were his choice he has failed miserably, if it was the recruitment team and owners decisions he has been given the short straw. Either way they are in a hole and need to rebuild and it won't be cheap. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

A bunch of mercenaries who could only see the pound signs...and then the Championship has stopped them in their tracks...and they have been exposed. Little sympathy really...

Its arguable that Parkinson has been backed.

| Phil Parkinson on 15:16 - Nov 3 with 182 views | RichardO | As teams go up through the division they have to be updated and existing players have to prove their worth, buying older players brings experience but also brings issues, be it injuries or a lack of intensity, Wrexham getting caught out possibly will need another year if funding remains in place, as for Cardiff are they at the reverse as such as a very young squad. | | | |
