Good food Dale 07:54 - Jan 28 with 2582 viewsborodale4

Looking to take some of the family out after the game today as my brother is up from London. Haven't been out in and around the Dale in years can anyone recommend any good spots to eat post victory?

Has to be La Mancha if your eating in the town centre. Other than that, The Italian Room in Bamford, Bellavista near Milnrow. Nutters is ok if you don't mind being surrounded by owd biddies. Other than that, I wouldn't bother, unless you want an Indian.

Poll: 24/25 season ticket, how many free games would you consider fair?

I agree that Nutters is good but you are unlikely to get in now on a Saturday night unless you have already booked. Try the Elephant and Castle on Bury Road - a gastro pub with good food.

I swear by The Bird In'Thand on bury road (just on our side of the border!), really good home made meals in there.

Bag of chips and a bottle of cider, sat in a bus stop. Then when your done, smash the bus stop up. This seems popular amongst younger Rochdale folk. If that's not your cup of tea, the Baum does good food as already mentioned and serves til 8 I think. I went there after the game that got us promoted, and they threatened to throw me out because I shouted 'dale'. Also they are/were one of the pubs that is on the Dale trust scheme where they give you discount if your a member, but none of the staff know this so don't even bother asking

Poll: Dale player. Do you use it?

The Pavilion in Fairfield is very nice, a bit more upmarket too.

The Rake in Littleborough is probably the best tapas I've ever had too.
