i just don't want reading celebrating on our pitch...he picked a strong team v walsall.
the league over rides all over things though...a cup run is nice but not if we go down!

Tough call.
I do agree as we need wins and there is a fairly reasonable break until we play West Ham, BUT, I am pretty scared of another Mackie/Faurlin situation and we've lost four players in the last two games to injury already!
Think we can make a pretty decent 11 out of our fringe players, so i'd go with:

Exactly.
I mean if we have fringe players that are still strong or 1st teamers that need match fitness give them a game but being one of the people in a previous thread not understanding why clubs do not try and win every cup possible especially when the league is not a possibility I say pick a team to win.
I know we have injuries (doesnt everybody) but we have a big enough squad to compete on all levels this year. |  |

Andy Johnson got a season ending injury in a league match so i don't really see the point in being scared of cup games in case of injury, they can happen at any time. We should be in football to try and win something and this is the only thing we have any chance of winning so at least play a strong side and try for it otherwise can I have my tenner back for the ticket i paid for. | | | |

I'd rest Nelsen, who is 34 and has been struggling with illness. Also Zamora who is absolutely vital at the moment.
I wouldn't want to make too many other changes as I think we need a Cup run and this is our best chance.

Given how the first XI are dropping like flies, I'd definitely rest as many as possible and only keep the players that seem impervious to injury. It's only Reading, we know Derry can handle Legs in midfield, and we always beat them.
Certainly can't push our luck with the defence / Dyer, we're going to need them.
Get Cisse / Adel in there so they can get some goals and run at Kaspars.
