Granero was trying that, but there was absolutely no movement around him at all each time he got the ball. He has to keep going around in circles waiting for a player to run (which they never did).
We've never had a game where all the midfield have played well at the same time. At least 2 players have a stinker and pretty much all the players have been guilty of that at some point including Faurlin and Diakete. | | | |

Maybe we need to do IQ tests before signing players because our players seem to lack intelligence. We also need to check the character of the players. How many times today did our players just stand there and watch whilst a team mate struggled to find someone to pass to.
I remember reading a book on Shankly and it mentioned that when he was scouting for players, he'd go and watch them train. After that he would then ask people who knew the player, what was the player like when the team was struggling. If the feedback received was that the player would not want to get stuck in and fight for the cause, Shankly would immediately walk away, even if the player was technically gifted.
