It would also solve a daft situation downstairs where people who've hired executive boxes can't drink while the game is taking place (unless this has changed). Haven't had the experience too often myself but last time I was down there everybody was sitting drinking beer out of coffee cups. |

Two scenarios here.
Tightly packed away end at Bristol City. Late Paul Smyth winner. Everybody thinks it's hilarious to recreate a Box Park scene and launch beer into the air. Long way home soaking wet and stinking.
Pre-season at Bromley, lovely sunny evening, balcony bar runs the whole length of the side stand, nice beer watching the warm ups. 2 minutes before a pre-season friendly starts they bring mechanical shutters down so you can't see the pitch and you're now standing in a dark tube.
Overall, Hunter's right. So much more sht facing this country atm than this. Focus on that. |

We got a bit of a taste of it in the Premier League last time when loads of South Koreans came to watch Park.
It's not an issue in the Championship - season tickets are still basically your biggest income along with the TV money so remain important. The big issue we'll have in this league is this new PSR thing will force clubs to jack them as high as you possibly can get away with. I'd expect to see a bit of a war on concessions across our level over the next years, and we've already seen that start with QPR this year.
Premier League, different ball game. Season ticket income absolutely dwarfed by TV and prize money, so far less important. We'd be very vulnerable playing up there in London and in a ground with only 18,000 seats.
This is why I said last year when they got rid of free U8s, 23-25s, jacked the prizes up... don't let it pass by without comment because all they'll do is think 'what else can we get away with'. |

Yeh annoying. Burrell got injured the week before West Ham last time as well. And of course we're Friday night.
But, big picture, longer term, the more of our players getting full international recognition the better it is for them and for us. |

I'm surprised they haven't gone at a faster pace given the context - 2nd v 6th, first game for three weeks, London derby etc.
TK might have hit upon something in his post though. The younger demo (who'll have fewer points) are desperate to hoover these up and are laughing at the older lot (who'll generally have more) are on here talking about what a shtshow the place is and how they can't be arsd to go again now they've been once.
Potentially speaks to my point earlier that there might be an argument for the loyalty points to be done on a rolling three-year basis or something like that. |

Yeh sorted in the same place we were last year, although as ever the six ticket limit means I've now got one half of my group in one place and one half in another because somebody bought the seats between us while I was assigning them all.

We'll see what happens at 3pm but as we come to the end of the 3,000 point window the upper tier hasn't gone on sale yet and two of the four blocks in the lower remain unsold. Basically all of 117 is still available and a smattering of 118. |
