I said this on here a few years ago, their owners bought a club with no dept and then leveraged the club & ground (IE Mortgaged) so they could effectively get their money back and had bought the club for nothing.
Some might realise now why I spoke up for Sport Republic when they took us over without doing this sort of thing |

Looking at the ticket website I would say we have now done about 2,600 for Preston, assuming that they have kept the block on the right of the stand clear for segregation.
They seem to have just put on sale another 500 seats |

It is easier to to Wolverhampton from Birmingham than it is to Aston Villa have a drink by New Street station and then get a train to Wolverhampton about 2.20 gets there for 2.35 and 15 min walk to the ground

I used to go in Bondage in General and bought the odd t shirt, I think the tickets they sold were not for the Gaumont though as it had its own box office, but for other gigs at the city at independent venues.

1. Good to see am almost packed St Mary's, just about the only section with empty seats was the two blocks in the Chapel next to the away fans, although the little group at the back seems to be growing.
2. What was the little skirmish about in the Chapel when the police were ejecting a fan , had Pat From Poole finally snapped and launched a solo attack across the barrier.
3. I actually thought the atmosphere was ok on Saturday, not up there with the Pompey game, but decent.
4. What was QPR's kit all about, it looked like either they were wearing their home shirts inside out or they had put them in the washing machine with some red & blue shirts.
5. Couldn't hear the QPR fans from where I sit, so can't tell whether they were good or bad in terms of support |

They have opened the ticket exchange for those season ticket holders that can't make the game before it has completely sold out
There were still around 200-250 tickets left, mainly in the block next to the away fans in the Chapel, but they have not waited for these to be sold, but allowed season tickets holders the chance to put their tickets up for sale |

a few more been sold since this morning so around 500 left in the two blocks in the Chapel next to the away fans and another 150 or so dotted around the rest of the ground |

Some good points made in several posts on this thread and as has been said, supporting a team is about having links to that club.
I know people who have moved down here for work from Liverpool and have never stopped supporting Liverpool, but unable to watch them regularly anymore have started watching Saints and supporting them as this is there adopted home city.
That too is acceptable |

Not yet played a league game for Villa, only been on the bench twice and in the other 5 games he has not even been in the squad.
At the time of writing it is half tine for Villa and having completed 1 2/2 games in the League cup for Villa ie 2 hr 15 mins mins, he is still 45 minutes away from game time for Saints this season.
Rumours abound he will be loaned to a Championship club in January.
What was the point, if he had stayed here he would have formed a partnership with Schlotterbeck that would be the strongest in the division. |

Yes I remember that, fact about the length of the baths hence it couldnt be used for big competitions despite having the seating capacity for events of that nature.
The flume was only added in the late 1980's early 90's and after that date I didn't go that often to the baths, in fact I rarely went after the mid 1970's I just wasn't that interested in swimming |
