I wasn't referring to people who've moved, i'm also one of those, more that so many on this thread weren't born in god's own city |

The one thing i find really surprising from this thread is how many on here aren't sotonians. I'd always, naively it seems, just assumed the majority were from Southampton, but it feels like i'm in the minority going by this |

I played football against steve basham at schools level, remember him being a proper dirty bast*rd (but also a very good player) |

God i hope they take him, he's got to be one of the worst professional footballers i think i've ever seen, his first touch is absolutely shocking, like someone has strapped a brick to his foot, and he seems to have absolutely no positioning or football brain. It was a genuinely awful signing and i have no idea which one of our statto nerds thought it was a good idea, but whoever it was needs firing. |

We don't have TV shows anymore mush we EVENTS, so it should be a full day, with build up, commentary, dress as your favourite dance move and sit infront of the tv with your own score cards. Some of our fans i'm sure will vlog the occasion to share to their social media channels, i've heard Pat is quite the fan of the rumba and his youtube Pat On Pirouettes (tm) is up there in popularity with freakish alien head Martin and Saint Rob's Public Schoolboy tips channel |

It's the strictly final on saturday so i imagine most will have their eye on that massive event instead |

Noticed the same for stoke too, a few blocks greyed out despite being in on the first criteria and before they were "officially" for sale. Definitely worse/more noticeable this season |
 | Forum Reply | Empty seats at norwich at 15:04 17 Dec 2025
Don't be silly that's not what the fans forum is for, it's for questions on hot dogs, beer, explaining FFP, stadium expansion that doesn't need to happen, and the womens team, as well as listing how long you've been a season ticket holder for. Why would anyone bring up things like ticket allocations, corporate tickets, the way they've destroyed the atmosphere at st mary's and the bubble? |
 | Forum Reply | Empty seats at norwich at 14:18 17 Dec 2025
Definitely seems to coincide with the P&O sponsorship and these blocks suddenly appearing at away games. Not sure anyone can begrudge them some tickets at home games, but a few hundred in a crowd of 32k is barely noticeable, the same number in a crowd of 2k is very obvious and a p*sstake |

I wonder if this answers that question? "This collaboration marks P&O Cruises’ first venture into sports sponsorship and will provide exclusive benefits and experiences to P&O Cruises guests and Southampton FC members and fans. Perks include special cruise offers, match tickets, meet-and-greet events and onboard coaching sessions." https://cruiseindustrynews.com |

I don't get why people say this about logistics, the last time we played at Fratton it was a night game and they ran a train, it was also probably the least intimidating atmosphere i've ever experienced going there and the police had it totally wrapped up. There is absolutely no logistical issue with letting people go by train, goldsmith avenue is literally a direct road to Fratton from the station and it's easy to police. I actually think it's the other way round that's harder, getting the skates from central to the new away end without them getting ambushed or significant trouble would've been a nightmare. You're options all include going through a park with no cctv, shutting down a shopping district of the city, sending them through the pinch points in st mary's, or getting them over the bridge into the caged off walkway alongside the kingsland |

i think we all expect it to an extent but this season it feels like the percentage being given away is much higher than it has been, and for a number of games we've seen blocks effectively left empty when match going fans wanted tickets. The game against the skates was always going to be one everyone wanted to go to, and the anger here will be that people are "jumping the queue", which to be honest i tend to agree with. In my opinion it's about fairness, and if someone misses out on say 13 aways to a corporate who's done none that is completely wrong for me. Maybe the club should have some "crown jewels" games where these corporate tickets aren't allowed, games like this, or games with extremely small allocations |

i was born/lived just over a mile from the dell (and less than mile of where st mary's is now), my older brother was/is a saints fan, my uncle was/is a saints fan, my mum was/is a saints fan, my gran was a saints fan, my great gran was a saints fan, most of the people i wen to school with were saints fans. I first started going with my older brother and a mush who lived down the road in the early/mid 80s (my mum has vision issues so in the 80's going to games wasn't easy). As i got older i started to go just with my brother but would meet up on the terraces with nippers i knew from school, as i got older still i went just with that group (think it was about 15 of us). So basically the short answer is, i'm from southampton, generations of my family are from southampton, my friends and their families were from southampton, so it was never a choice |

Yup I’m fully aware the London Saints do most aways, as I alluded to I know a few of them from games and I see the same faces at virtually every away. Cannot fault their loyalty home or away. Same is true for the northern Saints who are also equally as committed. Much rather those mushes get tickets than the lot who buy to hoard numbers and sell the tickets on the minute they get them |

Andrew Surman Nathan Redmond Simon Charlton (i think) and i might be wrong but didn't Ryan Bertrand play there on loan for a bit? |

That i know of Northern Saints (which i think is the biggest), London Saints and Welsh Saints. doubt the total of those combined is more than 50 people, in fact i think London saints is less than a dozen. |

No issue with the regional supporters clubs and i'd guess that little block to the right houses them, but the massive block behind the goal and to left is surely far more than just regional supporters clubs |
