Yeah i know im just kidding myself to be honest. Saying that the SPZL range is easy for to avoid as i gave up on adidas years ago as its played out. Basically become a uniform so not my thing.
I’ll spend my money on expensive shoes like sebago now, or boots like fracap. Definitely more of the ivy style than casualclone.
Saying that of course for the skates I’ll be digging out my barbour x engineered garments black parka again, hands down that was the most expensive cost I’ve ever bought |

Think it's a f*cking terrible idea personally, it'll just lead to people chucking shit beer in the air when people score.
Personally i think we should be alright in our grumpy old man corner of the chapel though, more likely to see a hip flask with good whisky there than shit beer to be chucked in the air.
Away games will be f*cking awful though, the away ends will look like box park. I might petition clubs to go back to the old days of providing some benches away from the main away stand if this goes through |

I'd put myself on a record ban till the end of the year the other day, then realised the new Moses Boyd is out in October so pre-ordered it, and found Raphael Saadiq's instant vintage for under £50 on eBay which is a f*cking bargain so bought that too.

I’ll be honest I had no idea he lived in Southampton. I saw him many years ago at Gilles Peterson’s Dingwall show and he was amazing, if have him up there with people like Omar, Sade and Chris Amoo from the real thing as one of the best soul singers this country has produced |

in what context? Spying isn't against the rules in the premier league, league cup or fa cup, so i'm not sure how Chelsea would've been charged with breaking it |

Exactly mush, Biesla wasn't punished because there was no rule to break and no punishment to give.
Tonday/Saints got punished because we broke the rules, we were the first case of it so the punishment was new as it hadn't been tested before.
You could probably argue that it should've been sorted in the summer as this timeline is ridiculous, but then you can also argue that's on the club for sticking with Tonda knowing full well he'll be punished during the season by the FA.
Do i think the punishment so far has been over the top? Personally yes, because it didn't really give us an advantage, and has largely been inflated by media hype.
Can i argue the punishment is unfair? No, because there's no precedent so no comparison, and this is the decision which sets a baseline.
Saints fans squinnying about it achieves f*ck all really and given we all know and accept the club and Tonda have broken the rules we should probably just accept the decision. |

Not sure if i'm missing something here but what can they appeal? We got charged with breaking the rules, because we broke the rules, Tonda admitted to breaking the rules, the FA are looking at him for breaking the rules. Presumably he'll get a punishment for breaking the rules because he broke them.
Now call me naive but that doesn't sound like a conspiracy or that there's any decision other than a punishment, because everyone has admitted we did wrong, including tonda himself |

1. Chester was lovely for a beer pre game, we had no transport issues so got there in good time despite being at Euston the same time as Pat
2. Wrexham is a complete dump of a town and weirdly smelled like a blocked drain. Not going to be rushing back there.
3. Saints dominated the game and controlled the pace, on another day that would’ve been a comfortable win but we just didn’t take our chances and it had that feeling the inevitable was going to happen
4. Our fans made me laugh, spent ages singing every anti Pompey song going then immediately followed it with a song about prowse with absolutely zero irony or self awareness.
5. The open racism you hear the further north you go is shocking, had people on the train back openly saying things about “foreigners” and how cities looked like the Middle East. It depresses me massively what’s happening to this country |

Absolutely stunk the league out this season, the batting line up was atrocious, but you can't say this hasn't been coming for some time now.
Terrible decisions by the selectors, poor selection of the overseas players, and over reliance on Vince in previous seasons, followed by not replacing him, meant we were always going in one direction.
What really annoys me is that next year it's an ashes at the Rose Bowl, if Hampshire had been top flight they could've tried to capitalise on increased interest in the game and got people into the ground for county, but lets be honest it's a hard enough sell getting people in for the top division, getting them in for the second division will be almost impossible |

the new blue note obviously has jazz but it's also got some really great neo-soul too. Erykah Badu is playing there, as is Common and also the brand new heavies.
I'd actually love to see Shabaka who's playing there but it's around my missus birthday and she's got no interest in it so it's a no can do sadly |

Sadly not trying to move house at the moment so can't really commit to much, means i'm even missing saints games which is annoying. Off to St Etienne tomorrow night as i booked it last year but i'm probably out of gigs for a bit.
Been looking at the line ups at the new Blue Note venue in London with interest though, some cracking people playing there |

That 3-1 game was the game the archers effectively became a "standing" stand as everyone ignored the tannoy for the archers to sit down, and that was it.
Still dont know how we won that 3-1 even all the years later. |
