I know this board tends to attract a certain "generation" of saints so figured some of you might know him.
A mate text last night to say that Rich "Squib/Squibby" passed away this week, he was an old school saints fan who hadn't been much recently, a local cabbie and a huge england and aampshire cricket fan.
Lovely bloke and really sad to hear he's passed

I’m not going to lie I hated it when I was in the new northam but I love the new set up now, we’re basically left alone to our devices and get to have a laugh and some back and forth with the away fans, and I don’t get annoyed by constant song about Pompey or that god awful started in a chapel dirge. |

I’d be amazed if it was even 50, probably less than 20 to be honest. It’s mostly just a group of mates having a laugh and not taking football to seriously, it’s not even constant singing it’s more just having a joke with your mates as it should be.
As for the northam most of the time you can’t hear them at all, occasionally when they get oh when the saints going you do, and you can see the clapping, but the noise doesn’t travel at all |

I stand in the block next to the away fans in the chapel, it’s the most fun I’ve had at st Mary’s in years, it’s completely our own thing, not trying to hard and just having a laugh with mates (and confusing the away supporters by holding a mirror up to their noddy nature). |

I genuinely can't get my head round how any Saints fan can't see through him, he showed us his colours when he ran the club.

Think even when they give the whole end they give slightly less, just over 5k in total.
Would be surprised if we sold out that many given the kick off and lack of trains to be honest. |

Would imagine we'll get the hold end so around 5k tickets, i can't see it being expensive either because we're hardly a draw and fulham only charged £25 for the boro game. |

They've improved the area around the Riverside massively now, last time i went there were bars and pop ups selling decent beer and a some good food spots too.
Think there's either a uni or college near it too so obviously they've invested in that area.
In all honesty it's actually pretty similar to st mary's now as a location, perched near docks and warehouses with a few amenities around it and not a massive walk from the town center |

Other than the skates who i despise i'm pretty indifferent to the rest of the clubs.
I agree that Wrexham aren't a fairytale and all the boll*cks about them being special annoys me, but wouldn't say i disliked them (more the coverage is annoying).
I used to properly dislike Derby for the play offs but these days they're just another club.
Other than that i've never had strong feelings either way for most of the teams in the league |

Pretty dull away game if you ask me, we’ve played there loads and it’s got to be one of the top four or five grounds I’ve been too.
Also Fulham are a good side and I can’t anything other than a home win
If as I’ve seen in other places all the games are televised then I think we’ll probably be the least attractive game, so expect it to be on the least watched spot. Which I assume is the early or late Sunday kick off |

I'd like us to get promoted so the people i know who work for the club don't lose their jobs.
Saying that i don't think we'll make the play offs, and if we do i don't think we'll win them.
The squad is way too mentally weak for what's needed in my opinion, and i've seen nothing to suggest we can put together the kind of run that would be needed to do it.
If by some miracle we did i can't see anything other than relegation the season after too |
