Will never forget the small room with well worn treatment couch and the walls decorated with boxers rugby players footballers photos with signed messages from the likes of Mark Hughes Ian Rush ColinJones the boxer .There were literally hundreds there.
Like you say magic hands . If he had been working in America for an NFL club he would have been paid millions . I was only there about 10 mins and in that time he told me literally everything that was wrong with my knee just by examining , twisting it one way then the other . He said Iam going to put your cartilage back now . I said how are you going to do that? He said sit back and relax then he just twisted and pushed at the side of my knee . Thats it , back in he said . I couldnt believe it . I hadnt felt a thing .
I asked him if he had any stories from his time with the swans . He said Dean Saunders was a brilliant mimic and a character . He was imitating the manager John Bond in the dressing room one day not long before k.o .
The players were laughing as Deano gave the team talk with a broad west country accent . Then the room started going quiet Deano looked round and there was John Bond going redder by the second .
Saunders was sold shortly afterwards !

I would say that would be an excellent move. I have seen his online video - looks class especially going forward with the ball . Big strong athletic just what we will need on 50- 60 mins as spaces open up a bit more . taking the pressure off us and putting it back on them.
I would say this game might well be tailor made for his debut. I would also like to see Monga given a run out and not for 5 mins either let him loose and see what damage he can do . Tymon looked as if he was running on treacle in the second half against pompey -maybe bring Parente in as his pace would be an asset down the flanks .

EU re entry mission creep nothing more nothing less. The problem with Fabians is they don't listen to others they pursue their goal by taking the long road.
The Labour ( Fabian) party takes the name from the Roman general Quintus Fabius Maximus Verrucosus . He refused to take on the Carthaginians head on in a battle. He knew they would lose instead he developed the slow approach of hit and run tactics scorched earth and the gradual wearing down .
Result Hannibal was eventually defeated . This is what the labour party are doing , reversing Brexit by stealth slowly but surely against the democratic will of the people little by little chipping away without mandate . Burnham is more dangerous than Starmer as he is carrying out the mission that Starmer was too timid to complete .
A liar who is pursuing idealogical goals that have complete disregard for the wishes of the British people .
We are either fully in or fully out of the EU there is no halfway house that argument is for the birds . We are out and that means out- no one least of all an ex Mayor without mandate chosen by the PLP - (that kind of gives away where his true loyalties lie)
should ever have the audacity of telling us otherwise.

True and I take that point . But surely we should be erring on the side of self preservation . If we can reduce the likelihood of injuries in the current climate by wearing shin pads that has to be a good thing or we will surely risk more ending up in the treatment room .
As far as Welsh is concerned I hope it is a twisted knee and not ligament damage . I remember having a twisted knee before. The cartilage had moved in the joint some 3 inches or so and it was painful .A quick visit to one Don White RIP put me quickly on the road to recovery . He diagnosed the injury in 2 minutes and twisted the knee and pushed the cartilage back into position . I walked out completely pain free..

Agree with Cabango . He is a bit of an enigma . I said many moons ago that he does seem inflexible and lacks natural joint mobility in the hip area. He also has a cumbersome running style but he also has a lot of credit in the bank from past heroics.
What I have noticed also is that he will have 4 or 5 good games followed by a relatively poor one . I think he should be rested every 4th or so game and play Seelt . We have to share the load.

Birmingham City v Swansea City: : Match Thread

I think with Birmingham you have to press their centre backs high . Give them no time on the ball. Cardiff did this and they played hurried passes and lost possesion . When that happens straight away they are vulnerable. Their centre backs are solid dependable and good on the ball when given time . Klarer and Neumann play every game it never changes . Playing in armchairs makes people comfortable you have to get them out if those chairs.Cardiff did this to them and they had no answer to it. They play a lot for set pieces . Long throws and corners are seen as crucial to their plans . We will have to defend a lot better than we did last night.
They like to get the ball forward quickly in the wide areas wing backs bombing forward. Liam Miller is starting to find his feet and will need marking tightly.

Re . The injuries , I have noticed a growing propensity for players to play with their socks down . Lissah , Welsh , Widdel to name but 3 .
No protection from shinguards whatsoever. Individual choice I guess but the way things are going injury wise Is it a wise one ?

I think if we are not careful we may be heading for premature burnout . 25 % of the season gone and there have been few team changes unless forced by injury. I think we need more squad rotation . It will take some of the strain off the regulars , reduce the likelihood of "overuse "injuries and freshen things up . It will also give much needed first team experience to those not getting it at the moment. We cannot hope to see the season out with the same old faces time after time and if nothing else it will add competition to team places .
The team on Saturday looked drained of energy .

I think that Boro didnt allow Bolton to play as they wanted to , every time Bolton tried to play Boro smothered them but they did have one or two moments though and with better finshing could have scored more . The difference this season for me is that Lankshear cant stop scoring . Prior to Boro signing him he did very little in my opinion on loan at
Oxford and West Brom . The irony is that Spurs sold him and atm he could probably walk into the Spurs side as they have rarely scored this season.

Boro have had 19 shots on goal in the first half ! We need to take more pot shots in games to have a better chance of winning.
