Where will QPR be on 29 Oct. 2028
at 08:34 31 Oct 2024

Hanging on for dear life for a valuable 0-0 draw at Clarence Park ( St Albans City) in National League South. The following weeks local derby clash with Wealdstone will loom large.

Tad harsh on Rachid, maybe? I was (very) young though - they were all heroes to me back then, even Ernie Howe.

How many points will we take from our next 3 games (S'land H, M'bro H, Leeds A)?
at 20:35 27 Oct 2024

Obvious answer to this. And I can't see its colour being blue, yellow or green...

Turfed over once Moor - Burnley Match Fred

Well done Rangers, that's got to be a morale-boost on some level somewhere.

We need to be transferred to the Premier League - we'd be fine on the road there, it seems. 5 pts out of 9 at the 3 relegated and monied teams.

Billy O'Rourke (RIP) in reverse I'm very much afraid.

If you know, you know.

0-3 or 1-3 to Coventry.

Consistency is key.

Is this on Nourry?
at 20:42 21 Oct 2024

Nourry as CEO, Warbs returns as DOF, Cifuentes/Calm remain in post? Or maybe not. I could think of much much worse scenarios (the present). Warbs + Marti - similar-ish footballing outlooks? A thought anyway.

This. Stability.

Changing the manager/management team does not (will not) solve anything. Has been proved time and time and time again. JFH to Olly to Schteve to Warbs to MB to Critch to Gaz.on and on and on...

Messrs Hobbs, Hammond and Hutton may have something to say about that, I would venture.......

Best since World War II, I grant you - probably alongside Boycott and Barrington.

Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes

Wouldn't want to party-poop in any way but I'm guessing Illias won't actually come on? But his name on the bench is obviously a massive boost to all concerned - which is probably the real aim.

My only Machiavellian thought this morning, which others must have had.

This slightly underwhelming (?), ever-so-steady start does have the effect of keeping Marti/Xavi under the parapet, no? Is it all part of a data-enabled Nourry-inspired cunning plan? Those Southampton, Wolves and Everton vacancies are imminent imho.

Genius Eze inevitably wraps return narrative – Report
at 10:20 19 Sep 2024

Yes, another great and heartfelt write-up. All angles covered – I did say before kick-off that I would rather we scape through 2-1 on pens after a grim 0-0 draw and then lose 0-5 to Millwall - as opposed to losing to Palace and then winning on Saturday. I genuinely think this scenario would be better for the club and fanbase short/medium and long-term as Clive and others have argued.

And the problem now is there is real self-inflicted pressure (imho) on the team to march out and win on Saturday which wasn’t the case before. We know what happens next.

Utterly Sick of It

Agree with the sentiment of this - and also, remember that this week follows a break of 2 weeks (plus one day) for most of our non-international exhausted heroes.

In fact, there have been international breaks in Sep, Oct and Nov for many years now. That's SIX weeks away from competitive football for the majority of players between Aug 31 and Dec 1. Room for most clubs to consider the grinding inconvenience of a potentially lucrative Cup run I'd have thought.

Crikey...hope i'm wrong about those line-ups but it appears one side is going for it and the other isn't. And that one isn't us.

0-4 Palace.
