Playing Birmingham irritates the hell out of me. I don't regard them as a real team. Just a boring bunch of shit. I always feel like we should beat them. Since I got my first season ticket, we've played the seven times and lost four of them.
Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

Sadly I remember winning 5-1 Rodney hTrick
Anyone else remember doing them 3-0 with Ian Dawes scoring a screamer past seamen in 85 ?
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

I'm bringing my 12 year old to HQ for the first time tomorrow. As he has a 100% win rate (Wembley) for live games, we are nailed on. 2-0, DC or Khayati first scorer

I've liked Birmingham since I studied there. Villa can go and die in a massive fire but Birmingham fans have always been ok in my experience. A bit of a crap club to support like us and we seem to beat them at home more often than not. Last time we did was against a team on about 5% of our budget who battered us all game only to lose 1-0 to Austin's first goal for us, I think.

After my 2o years in the Square mile , There is no doubt that residual damage has taken place to my pineal gland , via the Coca plant. 8 years abstinence seems to have no regenerating properties at all, thus i predict 3-0 to the R'S.

That 5-2 game I remember thinking we were very lucky. Seem to also recall it was a debut for Andy McCullogh who scored with a header. At the time I wasn't aware that he even existed! Straight into the team and scores. Maybe Connor W can emulate today ?

Fwiw - my recollections of that game. I thought it w as s 5 - 1 and Mike kelly was in goal for brum. He had flu and was punished especially by Rodney, one of which was a 20 yd screamer. Andy mcCullough went to my college in Walthamstow and studied Land Surveying around that time. He was a bit lightweight but scored a few including one away at Charlton one evening.

It was on the 'Big Match' the next day and two of Rodney's goals featured in the top 12 for the season. I think the second one featured may have been their goal of the season.
I was in the front of the Loft and managed to see myself in the picture for his first goal.
Oh for something special to remember today's game.

I was in the paddock for that one as well. You aren't the one whose corns I accidentally stamped on? If it was I apologise.
I used to alternate between the paddocks and the loft in them days depending on what time I got away from the building sites. Christ was it really 46 bloody years ago????????????????

Nearly 50 odd posts for a match thread and the game's 2 hours away. Must be a record. Is everyone bored out of their skulls or just expecting the worst?

Yep Halfway line in the paddock was the dogs, you got all sorts of banter. Brian Moore was a gent.Bloody camera gantry got in the way for that game as I recall.Nasty place when there were 35,000 of us for the Leeds game,in like sardines and very tricky exiting at the final whistle.

I'll go along with the 3-0 but I'll pass on the other bits.
