Should never have been signed in the first place.
Not only because he is old, rubbish and on big money although that is a very valid reason.
But also for the fact that we already had Traore (monumental cnt that he is) fit and available, also on mega money, as well as Kpekawa who didn't disgrace himself in pre-season, and Perch who had plenty of experience at LB.

At the start of the season, with Yun and Robinson injured and Kpekawa a raw kid, he was a sensible signing. At 34 he was only going to be a short term answer. The speed at which he has gone downhill is surprising, which is why Perch got moved to LB. Robinson cannot be fit enough, Yun wasn't trusted at LB by Ramsey, Warnock nor JFH. HIS 3 games have come at left midfield. Kpekawa seems to have stood still this year, otherwise he'd be closer to our first team or gaining experience on loan.
Konchesky is not going to be here next season, but serves a valuable role as this seasoN's scapegoat. |  |

I'd be amazed if he's on more than Konchesky and if he in on big dough then I doubt Charlton are covering all of it. We signed him at 22 from a Korean team so how much can he be on?
Plus he seems comfortably good enough to get another year considering both Konchesky and Hoilett won't be here. He seem an ideal left winger for Hasselbaink's style but hasn't had a chance. | | | |

A pointless pathetic signing,why oh why,what was the point?
Surely there was a younger alternative in the lower leagues with potential to improve.
As much stick as JFH gets,he'd never have sanctioned this signing.
As for the penalty for a player of that experience to dive in like that shows desperation.
He's been finished for a couple of years now and we give Leicester a small fortune for his services(lack of).

Except even with Yun & Robinson injured, you forget that we had Traore fit and available as well as Kpekawa who looked solid enough in pre-season.
