We Want Oyston Out: Blackpool fans are trying everything

Perhaps something to do with legal action taken by the Oystons against an online fan forum?

A Blackpool FC fan who was taken to court by the Oyston family over alleged defamatory comments on his website today told of the mental torture he went through for more than two years

Father (convicted rapist) and son (convicted Curly from Coronation Street lookalike) just decided to keep as much of the premier league money as they could and run the club into the ground as a result. This promotion has been a bit of a blow for those hoping they reached a low enough level for them to just walk away or bust the club and restart as a trust owned club.

Something we all need to be aware of. It highlights the risk that you, and particularly the site, take if you post things that could be damaging to someone, without the proof that they are accurate.

Large organisations are often prepared to run cases to the steps of the court before pulling out or reaching a settlement.

Well done Clive and the moderators for managing this site clear of these hazards.

As for Blackpool fans, well done for supporting this fellow spectator. It must be a tough decision to boycott your club's Wembley appearance.
