Wayne was my favourite player when I was mascot at home against West Ham, Jan 1988. Still have the picture of me, so pale, looking like Tiny Tim Crachett out of the 1983 remake of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol", with a prime moustachioed Fereday. I caught up with him at the London Masters in 2010 at Wembley Arena, armed with said picture in hand, to which he commented "Erfk me, that tache"....
