FA Trophy semi on 18:24 - Mar 12 with 5267 views | 442Dale | As they’re getting an allocation of 1400 tickets, would that mean we’re keeping some of the Willbutts available for home fans if required?

FA Trophy semi on 19:07 - Mar 12 with 5126 views | EllDale | 1400 is presumably how many they estimated they need. If they sell those there is spare capacity for a further allocation? I suppose if they don’t need more then some could perhaps go on general sale providing that segregation is possible eg separate toilets and refreshments provision.

That's precisely how the Willbutts was designed

As things stand the three usual home stands are available and it's likely the club will want to see those pretty full before considering extending into a section of the Willbutts. Costs of extra stewarding might be a factor (ensuring segregation, etc.) I doubt all three home stands will reach capacity

It's a perfect game to persuade family and friends to attend. Perfect also to inundate every school in the Borough with free tickets, not just a few hundred free tickets but give away a couple of thousand for the Willbutts Lane stand and physically put up a poster advertising the game in the schools/ colleges. The club could ask for volunteers to meet at the club on the Monday before the game with their own vehicles and help with the distribution, split the schools into different areas..Spotland, Norden and Bamford. Littleborough, Wardle, Milnrow and Newhey etc. The importance of the FA Trophy can't be underplayed now, the win against Altrincham seems to have given the whole squad a major lift and the players will now be bursting a gut to claim the shirt for a possible Wembley appearance. It's created a lot of excitement around the club and also amongst the fans, i can't be the only one who has already booked a hotel for Wembley? Glass half full and all of that👍 It could also be pivotal in shifting a lot more season tickets in a few months time should we beat Spennymoor. [Post edited 13 Mar 7:32]

I understand your enthusiasm - but this is a shared revenue game and the away team will want to maximise their take. Giving away free tickets isn't going to happen unless we agree to donate a sum to the away club. There have been games this season that were free - best to target those that attended the games for free with this match via emails. The price has been slashed in half as it is. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I searched for that too James, before thinking about whether to book an overnight stay According to all the official sites (e.g. Wembley, the FA) there's nothing decided yet The FA Trophy final is preceded on the day by the FA Vase final, which could complicate things EDIT: sorry, you were maybe referring to the semi-final? I had the thought about booking accommodation after reading the post by TS PS: with due respect to the FGs, booked with free cancellation [Post edited 13 Mar 13:37]

FA Trophy semi on 18:23 - Mar 13 with 3302 views | blackdogblue | Sky Sports app says 12:30pm kick off for both semi finals. So does the BBC Sport Football. Now then, the final… The FA website gives conflicting opinions on final days for the FA Vase / FA Trophy dates, I only know because my lad suggested a dad/lads day.. Wembley website says both games.. 1 ticket for both on the Sunday so booked a hotel for the Sunday night (with free cancellation on booking.com). Yes it was £20ish more or so rather than confirmed.. with booking.com, if we get there, can cancel it & re-book at the cheaper price.. Internet searches say either Sat or Sun 🤷♂️.. Yes I know… first game since Grimsby Aug 22 but for me & his response was.. you brought me up supporting this team.. once in a lifetime of maybe seeing them at Wembley again.. he has a point 😁

Bear in mind if you try to cancel and re-book after the semi-final the cost of the hotel may well have gone up, as rooms become more scarce. Might be touch and go whether you'd save £20, maybe a few quid...

It’s not like AC/DC are doing a concert is it 🤷♂️.. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Talking of which, last year stopped at the Hilton Watford as great transport links.. me & the pesky kids were having a few beers in Watford & Ubers were about £15-£20 there & back, booked a Wembley Hotel a 10 minute walk this time…

FA Trophy semi on 12:22 - Mar 17 with 1512 views | D_Alien | So, with tickets now supposedly on general sale, the only ticket option that looks available on the OS is a Lounge Pass for the Main Stand - and i'm not a Lounge Lizard Why is this STILL so bloody difficult?? EDIT: ahh, so you have to click on the written bit, not the label - which just takes you to the Lounge Pass option. Incredibly poor programming of the ticketing options - the very opposite of intuitive [Post edited 17 Mar 12:25]

I went straight to the ticketing site because I know the address rather than having to through the OS. The only option for that game for me is a lounge pass but I can see tickets for other games. Going via the OS link works but people shouldn’t have to go there if they don’t feel they need to. I know the bbc web address for news so don’t have to go through google for it and waste my time. It’ should be the same here but, again, the club make it difficult.

Cheers Once i'd found the right option (from numerous options) it might seem straightforward, but we're trying to attract new fans, especially to this game I'd normally use the Your Card option so this was "new to me" as it were [Post edited 17 Mar 14:31]

Still not been fixed. If anyone can be bothered (because it seems the club isn’t) go to rafcshop.co.uk and click on ‘tickets’ then ‘match day tickets’ under the Spennymoor graphic. No option for tickets for the game other than the lounge pass. Amateur. [Post edited 17 Mar 19:32]
