I wonder which Southampton player will be allowed to do what he wants by the ref - Manning maybe?

Good grief, first reffed us in 2009!

You gave him 8 out of 10 then Clearly been quite the decline in performance since.

I get the Football League Paper, love the fact they mark the referee too - Get to compare with Clive - Madley got a 7 on Saturday, Clive gave a 6

Madley was the standard homer. As Clive said he seems to hate us which isn't unusual. Strange as can't remember the last time we had a homer.

Agreed, he made 2 very dodgy decisions, including hacking down Madsen at the end and giving nothing

That Madsen decision at the end. I thought I'd maybe seen it wrong at the game from the far end so I went back and watched the tape. He has basically just abdicated a red card offence that denied us a goal because he knew he was about to blow full time and he couldn't be arsed with it. Madsen and Stephan were both straight into him at full time and I'm not surprised.

I used to really rate him. Very good referee. Clearly coming to the end of his career now.

Rated Stroud once lol

Poll: Now it’s slightly clearer cut who do you want as manager ?

TBH Clive, several of us in the match thread called it at the time and you're right he prob thought not gonna change result and couldnt be arsed. Poor though as if that guy has a blinder for the next 3 matches when he should be banned its what makes this division unfair. Can it not be reviewed retrospectively?

You're not predicting another nine for him, then?

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Don’t think so given he’s seen it. Hopefully the bloke scores the winner against Derby tomorrow.

Is that why there was a bit of pushing and shoving on Madsen after the whistle? I think involving the Hull manager/coach and a couple of players.

Completely agree .
Got straight on the phone to my son after the game , to crow about the win of course , but to also tell him that I thought I’d just seen the most ‘home favourable’ refereeing decision since Gavin Ward’s ghost handball decision about half an hour after Stoke (I think ) had just scored a winner .
No way we would have got that decision at the Bet365 and the same applied on Saturday . At LR he sends the guy off .
Really lazy and irresponsible bit of officiating I thought .
So did Madsen as he and Boaty McBoatface had to be separated after the final whistle.
