with the exception of a 15 min JLAA inspired spell at the start of the second half, we were second best in every single aspect of the game, and the scoreline flattered us. Had Tranmere scored three or four, nobody could have argued.
It may be mere coincidence but question marks must be raised regarding Tuesday night games. Charlton aside, they've all been poor whilst every Saturday performance has had all the qualities that we seek. I can't see being purely down to energy as we always seem to sort things out for the Saturday. |  | | |

They lost those games with les parry in charge. They are unbeaten under Ronnie Moore. They were miles better than us tonight. The only positive from the night was gary madine's 95th min equalizer v walsall. |  |
