Very true but after having them 117-9 this is horrendous stuff from England. I haven't had many complaints about Cook's leadership apart from being slightly too cautious but this 9th wicket partnership is making me wonder if he has what it takes to be anything other than a solid captain rather than a good one. | |

But then if Finn has been terrible (and I agree) then take him off earlier and see if Broad can manage a few earlier, see if Trott or Pietersen can get them hacking and nick a wicket. We shouldn't persist with someone when they are going for 4+ an over. | |

Broad is very inconsistent, again it seems to be that we love to bounce tailenders when we should be trying to get them playing fuller length deliveries. | |
