Taylor Richards 18:41 - Jan 23 with 26250 views | RsinWales | I've seen this same question asked in passing on other threads, but what is the deal with Taylor Richards? I would have thought that his 'we sign if we are not relegated' status would have led to a growing number of appearances as the season progressed. Instead, he plays a cameo here and there and then disappears completely again. If he is coming here, then I'd like to see a bit more of him and build up his experience. I don't see Tim or Dozzel as stand-out players who we can never afford to drop, so it is a bit mystifying why he isn't being given a run of games. Has the club ever said anything about it?

Taylor Richards on 20:52 - Feb 18 by dmm | That's all well and good, but what is the problem? Is it an injury, a health issue, fitness, a psychological issue or something else? The mystery around Richards' prolonged absence does him no favours. |
One of his best friends was murdered. As far as I'm concerned, he should be given all the time in the world to get over it. Grief affects everyone in a different way

Yes, I knew that and I agree with you. But he's also had/has an injury/injuries, has been spoken of as lacking fitness yet has sometimes been seen training. I think it would help us, and him, if the reasons he has rarely been available to play this season were made clear to supporters.

He’d made such an enormous impact before that as well.

Taylor Richards on 22:53 - Feb 18 with 3089 views | Hooping_Mad | This will be taken as heatless by some but it really isn't, we all have a sob story. I don't recall having time off when a friend of mine took his own life in his early twenties, we had to carry on. The longer he runs away from his responsibilities the harder it will be to man up to them again. They are paid very well to 'play' football, can the club seek guidance from the PFA?

Taylor Richards on 00:21 - Feb 19 with 2847 views | Northernr | More succinct 1 - can you name a single other club that would be spending money to make this loan deal permanent, the way it's gone? 2 - You lot should be delighted, this is exactly the sort of post of mine that gets hauled back up to the top of the board in 18 months' time when he's the best player in the league and we're selling him for Eze money.

Quick question Clive , regarding Amos , do you think it a contract situation here ie like Robert green that he hit a certain number of games and his contract is renewed. He played a few B games lately but not been making the bench Surly fit enough for a substitute appearance

No insight on that mate sorry. If you look at his appearance record for us it would be a weird clause - he's on 28 starts and 23 sub on his most recent contract, 54 starts and 32 subs overall. When you look at what we have on the bench and he's disappeared altogether it's all thoroughly weird.

Taylor Richards on 00:35 - Feb 19 with 2782 views | Hooping_Mad | Not easy to post that Clive, apologies If I inadvertently stirred that up. I've worked in the education field shall we say for 13 plus years and I can vouch that they always have a one size fits all policy to anything like this, I also had very bad year at secondary but after months in hospital my dad survived thankfully. I also got expelled from Primary on the last day but that's another story. Genuinely sorry you had to go through that.

Pity I did not read this thread before I posted my reply about penalties on the match thread. We have massive issues at QPR right now and to be fair you did predict this misery a few weeks ago when you said we had not bottomed out . Think we have tonight ?

I told you weeks ago we're just not very good at football now. I actually think the kid is a very good player, partly destroyed by injury and not yet 100% fit or near it. He's a QPR fan and although everyone thinks he should be playing better we are talking about a luxury player type playing in a desperately bad team devoid of Derry and Hill type characters, which is what we really need. The problem is the only player remotely like that is Martin and he's 105 and playing 3 games a week. It's generally a team full of not match fit luxury style players. Massive massive mistake letting Dom Ball go. Just the kind of player we needed.

Taylor Richards on 08:15 - Jan 24 by NorthantsHoop | Not seen anything yet to convince me he is worth signing. Would rather we get Jamal Lowe, but that will prove difficult, especially if Bournemouth go down. |
Why would you want him? He looked electric at Reading and the next game until he missed an easy chance which cost us 3 points and since then has clearly not given a shit
Taylor Richards on 20:47 - Mar 18 with 1387 views | HammersmithR | Played about 10 mins the other night. And then today no where near the squad. Absolutely ridiculous. He’s a 23 year old bloke who can’t get himself fit and we have to sign him in the summer. I despair.
