Very disappointing so far for me.. Came with quite a big reputation but he looks miles off it.. turns like a canal boat and his passing is horrific.. puts his team mates in trouble nearly every game..

Yes, but there is an admittedly trite adage ‘you make your own luck’.

A lot of bad luck experienced by a side comes from some way a lack in mental and physical fitness. Not anticipating what may happen and then not having the speed or ability to react. Not always of course but sides who are more ‘on their toes’ tend to get a bit more luck.

I think our players have lacked a large amount of fitness and I’m hoping Matos and his team will start building the fitness levels week by week - mentally as well as physically.

I wouldn't count at it. During the season training is more geared around "maintaining fitness levels" not massively improving, will be difficult with the schedule. We may have to wait to get next season's pre-season done to see any major improvement in that department unless they bring players in January who are used to playing at this intensity.

Its all about staying up.
Everything else can wait
Seeing cardiff and wrexham in a league above us would be crushing ,if we were honest ,thoiugh some would deny this ,in public but its true
Football is all about bragging rights
Cradiff are flying,.wrexham are loaded ,leaving us

not long ago, both were basket cases whilst we kicked arse at the highest level

Apart from the OG what has he done wrong in this game?

Are you a mate of perches?

He made a mis splaced pass in the second half which Wrexham nearly capitalised on , one of a couple and I have to say the hear the boos around me directed at him was a big disappointment and if anyone thinks thats acceptable needs to give their head a shake.

He gave away a shocker and always another but he did do some good things
I agree with Casey though
He starts for me
Cab gets stick but he and burgess shout out Moore
Many teams don’t

Cabango had Moore in his pocket tonight he did nothing, a far better game by our Captain tonight and worthy of the armband.

He gives the ball away too much and they lead to goals, did it last home game. He does have the best stats at the club for headed clearances and other stuff. Hearing he was booed is disgusting, too many people think that’s ok. Clearly not standing near to anyone brave enough to educate them.

Every club has them. By all means criticise but verbal abuse is not big and its not clever, whatever are they trying to prove except showing that they are completely idiots.

Hes an old school centre half, as you say some people need to be educated in what they do.

Will we see five at the back away at Coventry, I want to see Stamenic and Galbraith able to progress further up the midfield with a level of control of ball that commits opposition players to them to leave gaps for our forwards.

Disgusted and disappointed to read that he was booed, that's not gonna help his confidence in those situations going forward, he's a straight forward old guard centre half, his ability in the air in defence and attack is very good, mistakes happen when you're the last line of defence and no one will be more gutted than Burgess himself, I like him he's more than decent for us.

Agreed. I thought he had an excellent game and Vigs had very little to do. Most importantly was our winning goal. It is Burgess who initially goes up to challenge their keeper, leading to his duffed clearance. When Cabango heads it back, it is still on the keeper's mind, as he panics and drops the ball for Idah to toe poke home. No burgess = no winning goal.

Cabango is certainly no better on the ball than he is. He's just been unlucky in terms of OG's. It's a freak occurrence really.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Both of them are limited and not really fancy footballers but they are honest , good pros
Neither hide after screwing up
We keep it simple and they are ok

Coventry have one win in their last 4 games. We have 3 wins in our last 4 games. I'd like to see us go there looking for the win. Four at the back would be my choice. I'd just like to see us start playing at the kick-off, rather than wait to go 1-0 down!

I agree with going for the win. I saw that Jay Dasilva picked up a red card in this morning's game with Southampton.

They will attack us, create proper chances and probably beat us.

But they will leave gaps and we will be able to hit them on the counter. They try to play good football high up the pitch. Very difficult to do that and still stay solid at the back.

My concern is they have goals throughout the team. 12 different goal scorers so far this season, that is very difficult to contain.

I thought Burgess played ok last night , old fashioned no nonsense CH goes for everything in the air and puts challenges in ,we’re better as a team not messing about at the back and getting the ball forward quicker, yes he’s not the best footballer on the floor but he does the simple things well
Been unlucky with the OG’s but at least he’s not letting the ball go past him, without trying to stop it,which would cause us problems
Agree with the opinions on Franco and Ronald , they’ve got to stop the nonsense and just get on with the game
Widell adds a physical presence to the team and looks better every game

The likelihood is they will beat us. They’ve got some cracking players and Lampard has had a lot of time to get them dialled in as a unit.

It will be a very different game to Wrexham or Portsmouth though. We’ll get chances.

Dead right
He’s hardly great footballer although an international but he’s a very honest pro
He’s feckef up but he doesn’t hide and keeps going and yeah , we need to end this Martin legacy of shyte
He caused so much damage that maybe now some are honest enough with themselves to admit so
Without doubt IMO , all things considered, by far our worst manager
