No thank you.

I'm disappointed because I loved the guy at first, he was refreshing, but this a professional sport where points mean more than being a nice guy.

I personally think he lost his bottle a while back. He went from starting kids to failing to even put on a creative left winger instead of a defensive midfielder out of position towards the end of a key fixture.

He's also failed to fix us conceding late goals, amongst other things.

I hope we let him go professionally from this role so he continues to play a part at the club because he is a credit to himself, he's just no manager.

I agree that CR is not proven and has made errors in his short time in charge, but he has a squad that's a complete mess, a mixture of too young, too old and don't care.
We have had two of the supposed best English managers in the last three years and both have been a disaster. Can appointing CR really be any worse. We are not coming back to the "promised land" anytime soon so if CR doesn't work out, we haven't lost anything have we ??.He wont cost TF a fortune in wages or pay off fees if he doesn't work out and there is no more of a risk appointing him as there would be with say Sam Allerdyce.
Nothing can be worse than the last four years what ever happens.

I think he'll be a success in the medium to long term if given the chance.

He's displaying lots of leadership qualities. This idea he's "not a manager" is farcical. Do you even know what a "being a manager" actually involves.

Yes, he's not really got the results and he's made a small number of strange selections (almost every manager does).

But without wanting to regurgitate Neil SI's article and my post on a previous thread, I think he'll be successful for us and be remembered similarly to Holloway in 5-10 years time.

Judge people on their input not the outcome. It is the only thing they truly control and is the best indicator if whether they'll be successful in the long term. I'm still impressed with Ramsey and I think it's better to stick with him then risk another (experienced) "manager" come in, make loads of signings, etc. We've travelled that path before.

8 points from 12 games.

All he has done is to raise the levels of fitness which is no surprise because he is a good coach.

Fans have to accept that the club is in financial turmoil, Fernandes needs a manager who will keep things ticking over for the time being therefore Ramsey is likely to continue as manager.

Its been a long time since we have had a manager who doesn't talk s**t in the post match interview.
I would love to see him as manager next year, with a team that wont be full of hasbeens I hope !!

Cheap option if true.

Tony is in phase three of the 'Rich boys big toys' game:

1) Buy toy
2) Spend like a kid in a sweet shop
3) Bored, not getting what he wants. Stop spending
4) Move on

I really hope I'm wrong.

I reluctantly voted no, which surprised me because I was one of those guilty of getting over excited after the Sunderland result.

It's impossible to predict what might happen, but I just think CR's been given a good opportunity and, even allowing for all of the factors that were against him, it hasn't worked out as it could have. I'd be concerned that if he stayed we might still be relying on saying things like 'give him time' and 'we're moving in the right direction' for the next two or three years.

I wouldn't be horrified if he got the job but I'd be pretty sceptical. It's a very difficult decision that's for sure and it's horrifying to think that TF is in charge of making it.

Not interested in how the manager presents himself. We have a manager and chairman who both talk a good game.

Redknapp thought that we were going down. That's why he disappeared like a rat out of an aqueduct.

We didn't let him strengthen the team and Ferdinand was causing problems - that's why he left.

Any manger who starts must win games with 4 CB's and 3 CM's loses my vote.

No, he's been sh*t. Not managed to win a single f*cking home match. Even Paul Hart managed that.

According to your logic, where win ratio is the only thing that matters, we should get Dowie back.

Again mate, what does he earn that makes him cheaper than, say, Warburton?

I'm beginning to suspect this is just pure guesswork from you.

If we really want QPR to be a sustainable club with a developed culture that new signings fit in to, then at some point we're going to have to stick with a manager through a bad patch and back him long-term. Given the size of the task I wouldn't even call this a bad patch. Yeah he might have taken over and pulled off a mightily impressive escape in his first managerial position, but that he didn't isn't that surprising.

Redknapp was never going to be a long-term manager so the sooner he went the better for me. Ramsey's obviously not a polished manager, but he wants the job because it's a step up, and if TF were to back him there's no reason club and manager can't deveop. But it takes time a patience - and judging from this board people have lost patience already, which is a shame I think because we still don't really know what Ramsey's potential is.

Given Tony and Ramsey's respective records there is every chance the club may not develop under their leadership.

This summer is so important. QPR have the opportunity to chuck out the chintz, rebuild the squad and lay the foundations for years to come. It's important we entrust this task to a manager with the right credentials. It is too risky giving that responsibility to someone whose potential is unknown.

I see your point Bazza and generally agree with a lot of what you say, but, without concrete evidence, there has been enough to tell us that we are paying silly wages over the last few years.

SWP still here, Barton still here, Remy, Samba. Even Green leaving West Ham for us. The list goes on.

Mate, I agree.

But saying get rid of X because he's paid Y isn't helpful when nobody knows what Y is.

We are all here to speculate and fantasise I know, but some are in a different realm.
