QPR vs Sunderland - Losing Match Thread on 21:51 - Oct 26 with 2630 views | Mistication92 | 100 minutes of my life I won't be getting back. Disallowed goal aside, we created very little and I don't think that 1-0 would've been hugely deserved.
QPR vs Sunderland - Losing Match Thread on 21:52 - Oct 26 with 2556 views | R_from_afar | And to make matters worse the scum just won their shoot-out. Sigh....

QPR vs Sunderland - Losing Match Thread on 21:32 - Oct 26 by CamberleyR | Never offside in a million years from what they showed on Sky Sports News. Fcking Stroud strikes again. |
Shroud is a terrible ref but that was all on the linesman. Shroud clearly signalled a goal, linesman caved under pressure and made a terrible decision. Linesman has one job, to watch for offside, so Shroud has to go with his advice there. What a dck.

Continuing our appalling Friday night record on Sky against Forest (1 win in about the last 20 attempts is it?) will put the top hat on a fcking shite week.

Doesn’t matter, we scored a legitimate goal. Sunderland were unable to. I’m more pi$$ed off about the disallowed goal than the penalty shoot out.
QPR vs Sunderland - Losing Match Thread on 21:58 - Oct 26 with 2036 views | ted_hendrix | Linesman, ref, disallowed goal? we had 95 minutes to do the necassary and we couldnt, good luck to Sunderland. Some of our players need a good kick up the arse before it's too late. [Post edited 26 Oct 2021 22:00]

QPR vs Sunderland - Losing Match Thread on 22:01 - Oct 26 with 1897 views | saxbend | Absolutely we could criticise the penalty takers for letting that awful decision get to them, instead of getting on with it and thinking about the lino's face on a dartboard later, but the fact remains that we gave as good as we got against a fired up side riding high in the league and ready to play in the championship next season, and literally did enough to win the game with a goal that had no business being disallowed. So I am not going to hear any criticism of the players' performance over the 90 minutes, nor of Warburton's decisions before and during the game.
QPR vs Sunderland - Losing Match Thread on 22:04 - Oct 26 with 1757 views | stainrods_elbow | We were eliminated by the referee, pure and simple, and then two absolutely appalling penalties from Chair and Barbet, after our 'star' striker set the tone. Keith Stroud, and your feeble lackeys, I hope you fall down a manhole. After a night like tonight, I wonder what the point of watching so-called professional football is. I only hope Warburton has the balls to call it as it happened. That said, even though we were robbed, it was a mediocre performance at best, with not a single on-target attempt in the second half. Chair withdrawn into the midfield was a bad decision - why do that to your best player and joint top scorer? (Perhaps his disgracefully ballooned penalty was two fingers up to the manager - it certainly looked like he couldn't be f*cked.) Adomah should have started, or been introduced earlier, but in the 20 minute bone Warburton threw him, we couldn't get him on the ball. Gray was again a non-entity, and his sullen body language when he was subbed off told its own story. Probably Moses was our best player on the night, who was clearly chomping at the bit. Did anyone else look like they really wanted it (apart from us, of course)? Shit stream that stopped and started as much as the game, and I agree the whole spirit of the performance felt somehow flat. All in all, if the game was as important as Clive felt it was, the climax was so anti, if Rangers were semen, they'd have inseminated themselves. PS Oh - and the 'club statement' about the floodlights would insult the intelligence of a five year old. There were more shadows on that pitch tonight than 1920s film noir. Ruben needs to look at the performance of our CEO and ask - as I have done with my question to the Fans' Forum - why he's been allowed to clearly give up when it comes to looking after Loftus Road and still stay in his job.

QPR vs Sunderland - Losing Match Thread on 22:05 - Oct 26 with 1724 views | superhoopdownunder | Disappointing way to lose. Legit goal disallowed deflated us. We did not dominate Sunderland. Our penalties were very poor. No excuses regarding extra games now it’s the same for everyone. We need to lift our game and fast for Friday night. QPR it’s the hope that kills you.
QPR vs Sunderland - Losing Match Thread on 22:07 - Oct 26 with 2415 views | safcinpeace | Sounded a good game on the radio. Pity the EFL don’t allow streams in this cup. Good luck in the league
QPR vs Sunderland - Losing Match Thread on 22:08 - Oct 26 with 2375 views | EmpireStateRanger | After running Dykes, Chair and our defenders into the ground, having a linesman take away a clear game-winning goal, and seeing our top players do so poorly in the shootout, we have to pick it up again for a crucial match in three days time on a Sky Fridayin front of a home crowd that will probably be very on edge. Optics don’t look too good. Would be a true show of character if we came away with all three points .

I’m somewhere in the middle. I thought we deserved to win overall and the disallowed goal was a disgraceful decision. It was clearly onside and the lino buckled under a bit of desperate pressure from the Sunderland players. But let’s be honest our penalties were very poor. It looked like our players were resigned to losing and wanted it done as each penalty was rushed. A bit more composure and mental strength required to overcome the set back of the disallowed goal. Hopefully this is the low point of our season and not the start of us completely unravelling. We need to regroup and go again on Friday. Keep the faith!
