He'll be gone at season's end, wherever we are, but not before then. A placeholder since day one, he's basically past it physically and probably mentally too, but he's served a purpose. Let's face it, we had no one else who could do the job on a regular basis. Never understood why he was given the armband though.

I'd have either of them in now. It won't happen of course but he's a liability. We were poor today but at 1-0 you're still in the game. That second goal looked bad from the Loft and it's even worse on second viewing. How is a competent keeper letting that in? Even more galling that Seny - who didn't have the best season last year - had a decent game.

Never any scapegoats from me and you are right about us not looking like scoring. However with a better keeper today we could have got a point rather than nothing.

He's slow and it really slows the team down for how Cifuentes wants to set up. Ignoring his shot-stopping which goes from promotion season Paddy Kenny to Carl Ikeme's loan spell from game to game, he just isn't suited to this team setup. A new keeper will be number one on the shopping list this summer if we stay in the division, in fact I'm sure we'll already have the shortlist drawn up for that. If we go down, he won't be the reason but he'll have played his part more than some others have.
