Watching their managers post match interview he wasn't happy with his players at all. He also said that with the two red cards, and injuries, he now has 40% of his squad unavailable for selection. I predicted Boreham Wood might have a downturn after their heavy defeat in the cup. Results have been 'mixed' to say the least, but we must ensure they're not able to tap into additional motivation on Tuesday because of that. Players starting due to others being excluded will be extra motivated

Losing Erico Sousa to injury in December was a massive blow for them - he's a class act. He was on the bench on Saturday but still returning from injury. His replacement in Regan Booty now being suspended leaves them even more bare in midfield. We might see Aaron Henry starting for them.

Got a feeling Hogan might start tonight. Think EEL will be saved for Carlisle/Forest Green. One good thing about these rearranged midweek home games is the travelling involved for the away team. Southend travelled on the day last week and Maher thought it affected their energy as the game wore on. Presumably Boreham Wood will do similar - any advantage we will take at this stage of the season. |  |

Funnily enough we haven't played many Sat/Tue/Sat league sequences at all.
The one that stands out is Boston a, York a, Aldershot h and EEL started all 3 and had a nightmare at York. | |

Fully rested and the importance of going top and the pressure that applies on York City cannot be underestimated.
Play the game in front of you and worry about the Carlisle game tomorrow morning.
Get this right and with some luck not in our hands (Forest Green win at York) we could be 5 points clear with 2 games in hand come 5pm on Saturday.
