You can see why we're picking up young fans in such numbers. Tbf the Arsenal-United game was decent because they got turned over and their fans found it traumatic to actually lose a match at home (the Guardian article by one of their fans is beyond parody).

How much would it cost 10 lads, 16-18, to go together to Chelsea or Arsenal and watch their next game?

There's definitely a few things that the club have pushed recently that will help. There's been a large increase of short form content uploaded to socials like TikTok and Instagram, easily consumed by a younger audience. On matchdays having the FanZone with players, having the likes of Panini involved the other week.
Economic factors and word of mouth help a lot too. Just take a moment to look at the great coverage on the "All About Rs" YouTube channel, all younger lads following the team up and down the country. All of that helps. Clubs in good hands when it comes to future support I'm sure | | | |
