I think this team will gradually evolve to Kone up front and Burrell replaced by a 5th midfielder. Just needs more movement and slicker passing. |  | | |

I hope you are wrong. I love Kone, but think Burrell with his pace is less predictable and likely to cause oppo defences more issues. Play both and sacrafice a wide man if we need to stodge up midfield a bit more | | | |

Not wanting to have a pop but I think it's justified to ask why Madsen isn't getting used for set pieces. We've wasted all of them so far.
Decent showing in the first half but we are not going to win anything in the air against that lot. It needs to be fast and played through the lines for Kone or Burrell to run onto.

I thought we looked pretty good first 20-25 mins, ok after. We sre playing a team that nearly finished 2nd last year as well who had the best defence as well I think.
For me lots to be positive about, some really good passing and movement, not afraid to play out, play it back but then trey to get it forward quickly if we need to.
Final 3rd not quite working, but Millwall are good defensively. It feels not far off though.
We are doing well defensively.
7/10 performance for me so far - defending really well, playing out well, just that last biut not working.
Big test how we, and they react second half and if we can still play as we have been trying. | |

Burrell out right needs A LOT of work. He just is not in this game.
Pretty stuff at times, the tannoy system now works, but no shots on target YET.
Madsen won't last 90, so going to be interesting how he sets us up later in the game. |  |

Look so much better with Chair sitting in front of Vale and Madsen. Much more solid.
Kone a little isolated, need to get Burrell, Smyth and Chair nearer him.
Can see how JS seems to want the midfield to be revolving, dropping in and out. Varane might struggle with this as he is so slow to turn. | |
