I'm deeply skeptical, unless Park is prepared a substantial cut in salary. On his current wedge he'd be the highest paid player in the league – bar Thierry Henry in New York.
In Vancouver we already have two Japanese players and one Korean – ex-Spurs, Y P Lee. – in the squad. As I've posted on here before MLS is not, contrary to some overseas assumptions, a wealthy league. There's a firm salary cap, with two slots for "designated players" who can be paid more. Here in Vancouver they're currently Kenny Miller and Reo Coker, which should give you some idea of the league's expensive players. Only LA and New York can afford the Beckhams and Henrys, and their DPs are currently filled. Toronto might be an eventual destination for Park but, as I said, not on anything like his present salary at QPR. | | | |

Would definitely not get shot of Johnson if his recovery is going ok. No doubt he'll miss a fair few games with injuries but even if he's available for just half of the games he's exactly the sort of player we need - canny, competitive, good movement and a decent all round footballer. |  | | |
