Gets a yard on his man, ahead of the support and finally cuts it back rather than whack it across the line 10 yards ahead of the support and.....
Marti subs him off, brings on a Right Back and we lost our pace, threat and all momentum to go on and win the game.
Marti always has and continues to make some very odd decisions!

Thought he needed to release the ball much earlier from my view on the telly, but its easy to say that with the benefit of highlights. Smyth was fine, did was he's supposed to do. Probably mis-hit the cross for Morgan trying to pick out Celar but deserves the luck for trying in the first place. If he played like that second half more often (first half he was anonymous), then all the better for him and us. |  |

After being subbed I saw him hobble down the tunnel just before game end. He was limping.
So, he had to be subbed. Also correct to say Ashby did feck all. If Dembele is gonna play in the middle, then we need Smyth on the wing to pin them back. They dare not take risks going forward otherwise Smyth will speed past them as he did anyway.
Managed to actually get an assist and he did see Morgan who called for it. |  |

I sit in line to Smyths crosses and whilst those early crosses look good they are pointless as if he receives an early ball and sprints forward even Dominic Iorfa would struggle to get on the end of them,
Head up, pick out your man and cut the ball back is what we need in those situations and what we got at 3rd time of asking,
Like the lad, maybe not the brightest, but this comes down to our attacking Coach which I believe is down to Marti, which is a thread on its own and our current downfall. | | | |

he did though and celar stood motionless when the ball was two feet in front of him , feet planted to the ground. for a supposed box striker celar isnt anywhere close to getting a goal , not even sure he had one shot on goal last night , one half arsed header toards the end is all i can remember =. |  |
