QPR v Not Preston again Match Thread 12:27 - Dec 19 with 26918 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | OK, here we go again, match thread 4! Does it feel like we have been playing Preston for an eternity? Will John Inman be crying into his Cosmopolitan at the end of the game? Will QPR continue to grind out the wins to keep us all in the Christmas spirit? The Ancient Alien Astronaut theorists say 'YES' again! A week off, key players back, and a 3pm KO. Preston also 1 win in 11, I think, but loads of draws. 2-0 Rangers (if we turn up). QPR v Not Preston again Match Thread on 17:43 - Dec 21 by stainrods_elbow | I've been eating a few slices of humble pie on and off for a while now (though certainly not post-Brizzle), but after that 2nd half, it'll be interesting to hear from those who've insisted the entire recruitment was in the sea and Nourry an existential danger to our club. Talk about false prophets! |
If I were you, I’d probably give it a few more Xmas games and see what happens between now and then….

QPR v Not Preston again Match Thread on 17:18 - Dec 21 by Rsole | I was hoping Marti would play Morgan along with Varane and Field a few games ago and it seems to have paid off. The three of them are very complementary and we’re a more dynamic and competitive team with Morgan pushing on. It frees other up to contribute and just look at the possession improvement stats. I called for this midfield 3 about 6 weeks ago. It has legs and 3 players with some positional sense. As I posted in a different thread. The shape we play and what we’re asked to do requires serious engines in those roles. It is why Madsen and Andersen (when they played there earlier in the season with Field deeper at ‘6’) were a complete disaster. According to the Beeb, we won 52 duels to their 32. I’d wager a lot were from the midfield 3. That wins is the ball and gives us possession and a chance to play.

QPR v Not Preston again Match Thread on 14:12 - Dec 19 by saxbend | I just hope that Icelandic chap we were rumoured to be in for but ended up signing for PNE at the last minute plays and is unmistakably outclassed by the players we ended up signing instead. |
I'd say I got my wish. | | | |
QPR v Not Preston again Match Thread on 18:04 - Dec 21 with 2183 views | davman | Post match curry in Simpton. Where? Me neither. Nothing better than beating the Chief Shithouses after they spent 30 mins time wasting before going 1-0 up to spend 20 minutes time wasting before we equalise to spend 39 minutes tim wasting before we got the winner. Then spend the last 6 minutes moaning about our time wasting. Lovely.

QPR v Not Preston again Match Thread on 18:06 - Dec 21 with 2156 views | dmm | I'm as delirious as everyone right now but can't help be concerned that we missed so many chances yet again. We should have scored 4 today, maybe more. I think we've hit the woodwork more than any other team in the league and we did so twice today. Perhaps now we're in a more comfortable league position the players can relax a little more and find greater composure in scoring opportunities. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Marti says Cookies injury is to do with soft tissue on the sole of his foot? May not be as bad as we think.

Fully deserved and a great team performance. It was absolutely rocking when Dunne scored! It’s been a remarkable turnaround, well done Rangers! U’rsssssssss! [Post edited 21 Dec 18:26]

Hope so as don't want to lose Cook for months but these injuries keep hampering us. Spoilt a good day today as I have been waiting over two years for us to win three in a row at home. Feels longer in truth...

QPR v Not Preston again Match Thread on 16:39 - Dec 21 by QPR_Pro_Max | Is Chair playing? |
Yes. He got an assist after being out for three months. I suspect you thought he was hanging on to it for too long just before he flung it over. Let's talk about Paal and Saito today before you have a go at our one proper footballer who has been out all season. Everyone played their part in that turn round and if you think anything other than the left side improved immeasurably when Chair came on, I despair.

I'm not a fan of Saito. Rarely beats his man, too weak, and never seems to deliver a killer ball. Don't think we should sign him. Chair, one moment of class and a goal. Love him.

Thing about Knob End - they know how to galvanise a home crowd. MOM Morgan. Ran his socks off with no little skill, either. Get in there!

Sorry Boston, I find you genuinely hilarious and your posts make me laugh so very often. But I really hate the word 'Paddy' used as a nickname. Does my head in. I know you didn't mean any offence, of course.

Great support and atmosphere and a well deserved 3 points. What a difference 6 weeks make, 5th in the form table and 14th in the standings. Players coming back from injuries for the busy Christmas period, all of a sudden we have reasons to be cheerful. Merry Christmas Cmon you Rs

The midfield trio of Field, Varane and Morgan makes us so much more dynamic in attacking the final third. Gutted for Cookie. Jimmy D. my MoftM. He was immense yet again. Happy Xmas to all fellow Superhoops

Crikey one of the best Christmas nights at Loftus Road … the second half performance and the vibe leaving the ground was something else and you complain about hitting the woodwork … what it must be like to be near you at a game
